  1. He was announced by Oxford, but he has taken down his own social media post announcing the he will be back at Oxford. As I understand it he has fallen out with Oxford to the extent that he isn't going to be riding for the Cheetahs next season. Not sure where the story/rumour originates from, or how true it is though. I believe Chris Harris was mentoring him last year which might be where the Glasgow rumours come from? Young British rider with potential and he has proved that he knows the quickest way round Ashfield so I get why Glasgow would be interested if he was available
  2. My trading if good from the BSPA website is that it was James' choice not to be back (well sort of, his Polish commitments rule him out as he "can't make it work" with a Friday track) https://britishspeedway.co.uk/cab-direct-championship/pearson-on-the-move/
  3. Bomber will be back at Glasgow next year. He loves the Ashfield track, and Glasgow wouldn't let him go for the same reason that most fans want their team to sign him...top class entertainment every meeting. Given what Cami Brown has said about the Tigers team, being led by an experienced UK based rider that will maintain his average and use his experience to bring on the youth in the team, Bomber will be a Tiger again next year
  4. That was an earlier rumour but seems that he is not in the Glasgow 1-7, but I believe that Max Perry will be.
  5. Sadly no Robert Lambert in the UK this season https://www.fimspeedway.com/news/chapman-missed-out-in-lambert-bid-as-he-reveals-stars-seven
  6. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/miscellaneous/scb-statement-nick-morris-3/ 12th July assuming that he paid the fine on time. If he didn't, then I believe that the suspension (2 years) starts from the date that the fine got/gets paid.
  7. Could be wrong, but "frantic Friday" might be 6 different announcements over the course of the day
  8. Howarth and Hodder both seem set to be in the Glasgow team for next year
  9. Plus it fits with Cammie Brown's interview of all British based, couple of experienced riders plus the others have the opportunity to increase their averages
  10. Looks like we have a winner. I don't see a 'naw it isnae' comment on either
  11. Michelsen and Doyle were obvious choices given how their season was going pre injury. Were Huckenbeck and Kvech given the other 2 as a second chance to reach the top 6 because they have only been in for 1 year? It's not unheard of for that to happen. Certainly Madsen was unlucky to miss out. As for the Poles, with Artem and Emil on Polish licences but not being put forward. You then have the next best 3 Poles as Janowski, Dudek and Kolodziej who have all had previous wild cards and have all at times seriously under performed, so I would expect all 3 are only getting back in the hard way. With 2 Poles in the series and the next best 5 discounted you are then talking about giving a wild card to the 8th best Pole (Ignoring the Polish/ Russian debate) as opposed to the top rider from another country. Huckenbeck, Kvech and Woźniak all finished on similar-ish points totals. Add in that Woźniak had a terrible second half to the 2024 series (9 points over the last 5 rounds) and picking Huckenbeck and Kvech is more understandable
  12. Boris previously said that he was American by accident of birth (his mother was on holiday there when he was born). He had dual nationality. However Boris went through a process the Americans have where he formally renounced his American nationality. He therefore is legally British, and not American. It's a non reversible process, so if he wanted to behind an American citizen again he would have to go through the same process as any other Brit. So he is in a different situation.
