Fair Comment on Etheridge 👍 Batchelor not sure how hungry he is anymore time will tell. Thompson is a gamble but one I would definitely take and a lot times Thompson only had 4 rides at Glasgow has they favoured Howarth with Harris so his points total could have been a lot more.

Zischke needs to improve a lot his machinery is really below par and went majority of the season without a mechanic and at times wasn’t changing things on the bike set up etc until his 3rd ride. I believe he can improve. Hook will naturally struggle in the main body of the team but he definitely deserves a team place. Etheridge I believe was solid and would give another chance for sure been around a while knows the tracks but will need to improve away from home. Batchelor I would only have back as 3rd heat leader the number 1 and 5 days have long gone. The question will be is the desire still there? Also questionable attitude if things don’t go his way. Voulas very solid at home but to win things needs to be solid away and he is far from that very poor away with no improvement I would let go. Foord I would keep for sure natural racer and another year older learning his trade I believe he needs signed ASAP if not can see him going to Glasgow. New Faces possibilities? Klindt good number 1 wins a lot from the gate but machinery 1st class and very experienced rider but doubt would be availability and commitment and can imagine not being a cheap option. Juul Pedersen brilliant in his couple of meetings in england but can imagine in high demand and knowing Danish riders not cheap and maybe go searching for the best deal. Also unsure what average he may come in on? Jonathan Grathn I would try everything to get this guy goes well at Workington and had good away form for Edinburgh for his first season will only get better. Dan Thompson people say he is not a number 1 but averages and figures don’t lie. 8.50 average for a reason. He is an active rider and has very good machinery riding in both leagues. He is only going to get better and will be a big force in this league next 1-2 years. He would be my choice at number 1 Thoughts Workington fans? Thanks

Glasgow can rule Zischke out. I have it on good authority he will remain at Workington. And this was signed before he left for Australia.

Voulas is a big NO for me hasn’t got any better and very poor away from home. I think the priority is having a good number 1

Fraser Bowes has already agreed terms with Poole that was common knowledge at Workington towards the end of the season. Also Zischke will be back at Workington he solely relies on 1 guy who he lives with and he drives him everywhere.

Bowes expected his bikes to be at Poole as they are stored at Workington. He got told this was not possible and threw his toys and confirmed his season is over. For me I want riders who want to ride for Workington regardless. Nobody is bigger than the club. He has been missing more than present this season. Go and chase your dream in Poland and Sweden son. One excuse after another for Cook. I believe he went missing at the start of the season due to testing at tracks. Weird whenever he has a illness last for at least 2-3 weeks. Didn't he just have Covid that lasted a month. Oxford need to cut their ties with him he has let every club down Premiership or Championship. There can’t be many club left for him to go now. He even had Workington on his doorstep and managed to mess that up. Time to retire obviously not taking this seriously and having the pants down of both promotions and fans.

I believe Workington have until Wednesday to sort this situation out or it is over. Also if they do get back a 6pm start time has been suggested to attract more fans.

Foord is now riding for Kent has he was a signed rider at the start of the season. I believe Jason Edwards is now fit so they went with that option. All riders must be banned from guesting. I do know at the start of the season Tate and Anti visa were sorted out by Belle Vue and Birmingham not Workington.

All Workington riders have been banned from guesting while the clubs suspension is taking place. So Voulas and Foord both supposed to be riding tonight have been banned and will not be riding for Birmingham and Ipswich. This is now seeing the riders hit in their pocket for the clubs incompetence. And a lot still think our riders are not looking elsewhere to ride?

No the promotion can’t help the weather that was never mentioned. But they can help being suspended from racing. Or is that the weathers fault too? Smell the coffee and stop sugar coating this errors have been made and now everyone must suffer the consequences inc riders and fans. But again if the promotion actually bothered to communicate all this could be explained.

The promotion still haven’t made a statement. The last statement was on Cumbria Crack 2 hours ago mentioned no Berwick fixture. Like it or not the communication to the fans is terrible.

I was just made aware of 2 riders asking to be moved on no names were mentioned. I would guess this is due to the lack of meetings and income. The riders will have bills like us all.
