For a club like Lynn with a great history and in the past a professionally run outfit Buster Chapman has taken it to the lowest of the low. It is so sad to see. Heartbreaking for some us old timers. I really wonder what the likes of Mayrie Littlechild and Martin Rogers would make of how this once family orientated club is now being run. Have to say, sadly that's me all done How on earth is this person head of British Speedway ? Be afraid, be very afraid

IF KK turns up tonight with his gating gloves/head/engine then things could get quite interesting for The Stars. The track has been a trappers paradise all season and KK is well known for being a trapper. I would say if he does gate no one will get past him. Looking forward to seeing Holder the Younger at Saddlebow and Starke. Anderson should be good for 10 plus. For Lynn is this the 2nd half of the season Holder about to take centre stage ? Will Lambo really be fit enough to come back, I seem to remember when he comes back from injury it takes him a few meeting to get back up to speed. Robert is still carrying the wrist injury so question mark there as well. batch, well who knows which one of his heads will he turn up with in place ? Huck and Rose will be steady. TJ slowly getting use to the track at Lynn. All makes for an interesting night. Are we now passed the time of year for sun delays ??

Sometimes even the best can get it wrong. Ford has made a cokc-up with the team this season. The things is Middlo prides himself in getting that bit extra out of his riders, ( apparently) Looks like he has failed with a few of them. Maybe he has been in the job to long and it needs freshening up at the top.

They say form is temporary class is permanent. I cannot see Holder being as poor in he 2nd half of the season as he has been in the first half. The prize giving doesn't come until the end of the term, so I have faith that IF we make the play-offs that's the time you really need the Holders of this World to make their mark. It is only a short while ago Lynn fans on here were baying for the blood ( ok a bit OTT there of the both Kenny B and Rory S, Both their current average's speak volumes. Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for. You Never know Buster might have sorted out a track which will give the Lynn riders some kind of home advantage.

I agree Stevie,. wouldn't you think with all of Matts and Middlo's connections, World wide, and all the riders out there who are desperate to ride for Middlo and Ford, they could have come up with someone a bit classier than the guy left on the shelf that no one in The Premiership seems to want. Whats gone wrong Shovvy ? Has the Poole management lost its mojo ?

What was the track like for the recent World Cup event there ? Did it produce decent racing or was it the same old pony ?

For me I really look forward to the start of the season, and then once the season gets under way the quality or rather the lack of it starts to grind me down. Have to say this has happened over the last few years when the track has failed ( is it the tracks fault or the curator ?) to deliver. The sad thing about speedway is it is such an exciting sport when produced correctly but a real pile when it its not. The potential is massive, but sadly I can see it becoming an amateur Sport run as it is now, in this Country. Enjoy it while you can

Who knows where any rider will be next season. Its a numbers game after all. However most of the numbers have £/€ sign in front of them.

Riders have always missed meeting for a variety of reasons. Food Poisoning seems to be the in vogue one. I seem to recall the Great Ivan Mauger went a whole season without riding an away match, cant think which club it is was for now. He struck a deal that he would only to do home meetings, and the BSPA allowed it.. Now if you want to point the figure about riders missing meetings for whatever reason, and being allowed to get away it then look no further to who's door to lay the blame. The tail has wagged the dog for many years, and its getting worse.

When you are riding for yourself as in an individual meeting then the choice has to be yours. However in a team situation that decision should be taken away from the individual

Way, Buster has put a lot of hard work in, but so did others, including his son. I still maintain the whole package was of greater value, entertainment wise while JC was in situ.

Think Puk is struggling at Grand Prix level because of the new young blood that's coming through. Feels like it's changing of the guard time. Still love to see Jason Doyle become WC. These young Poles look Hungry but Doyle could strike a blow for the late developers.

Buster is not known for listening to anyone's opinion, except his own. I am sure JC ( who of course was heavily involved) would confirm or otherwise from 1st hand experience. I know of one guy who went to Buster's office with some ideas/suggestions about the football Club and was promptly shown the door with a firm kick up the ass.

There lies the rub Haza. 1500 people for Speedway with a lot of work and effort behind the scenes, or 5,000 for Stock cars with Speedworth doing all the leg work. No brainer really. Maybe the time is coming in the UK where Speedway will become and amateur sport, that way it will be reflective of the people who run it.

I seem to recall when Buster was in charge at the football club they held a fans forum. Someone asked a question of Buster that he obviously didn't like.... And his response was..... You know where the door is. JC. You were there, true or false ? Surprise surprise gates at the Football Club went from around 800(when JC was there) to under 500 and Buster sold out. Few clues there to think about

its a 2 way street Hyderd. For sure the fans should support the club, which they do ( otherwise there would be no club) in turn it is up to the promotion to offer something in return by way of entertainment for that support. As Kings Lynn fans we have been brought up on winning sod all ( at the top level, a couple of cups apart) but have always had a quality racing circuit ( until the last few years). That was our place in the swing of things and one that we have accepted over the years. Entertainment first, prizes second. Now we don't appear to have either. So where is the encouragement to go and hand over £17 plus of our hard earned money ? Note... Sorry. this is not meaning to sound like I'm replying on SL's behalf, as she is far more capable than me..
