  1. Topinka, Rode for Oxford Cov, Ipswich, Workington as well as Lynn. Wuffy Is riding for Clubs In Poland and Sweden, but Not Wolves in the UK. Lindgren had a season or out of the UK, but was riding for clubs in Sweden and Poland. Newman and Kerr are young uns still time for him to have a host of Clubs. Holder, didnt he give the Uk a miss as well ? Ward rode for Swindon this season. Your Witness.
  2. If that is the case, he was in good Company. Riders will by and large pick where they are going to get the most reward. What amazes me, is that people are still surprised by this. A Speedway rider, rides a bike as a job. He is freelance to earn what he can where he can.. No different to a self-employed trademan in the Buildling trade. Gone are the days where one rider sticks with a club for keeps.
  3. Then again he could repay the club in another way. When Buster receives a big fat Cheque from Matt Ford ( Change name to fit). Just because he is local, why should he be any more Loyal to the Club than ex number of other riders who have sold their time at Saddlebow over the last 20 years ? how many times have we heard those involved in the nitty gritty of the Sport ( I use that term very loosely) tells us its a 'Numbers' game. Well for the riders that must also apply, but in their case the numbers are proceeded by a £/€ sign.
  4. Why should a poster be accused of the above Just for supporting a young upwardly mobile, Local rider ? The Boy has Immence talent, Ok he makes the odd mistake, I think I made a few of those when i was his age. Maybe Pinny you were perfect and a total credit to your parents, if so, well done you. If the lad moves on from Lynn, then so be it, and he will be doing it for his future progress in the Sport and maybe even to boost his bank balance, again how many people in his shoes would turn down extra money, if offered it for each days work ? For me it has been a total pleasure to watch the boy develop from The Lynn National League side to the fine rider he is today. I have to confess he was the one big reason I went to Saddlebow last season. If he does depart he will leave a massive hole to fill, in terms of entertainment value.
  5. Isnt the main part of the AGM to divvy up the seasons proceeds ?
  6. Does it matter who wins and who is bottom . Surely its all about rider development. I do wonder if there even any point in have such a thing as a league table
  7. Will a deduction in riders per team result in a load more dicking around with race formats and rules etc ?
  8. If there is such a massive shortage, why not go for 4 man teams. After all for most of last season thats what we were away from home.
  9. I wouldnt be surprised to see young Lambert head off for pastures new, for his own development. Interesting that he ended the season at Rye House. Maybe he will look to go to somewhere a bit more technical than Saddlebow. How about Kent.. ( Silver connection) ?
  10. A Big well done to Poole. So thats season 15 over. Time to loook forward to 16
  11. Interesting that Albert Pierrepoint set up home in Manchester. Surely Poole can't out choke Albert
  12. If Lewis returns I feel it may well have to be in the main body of the team. NKI Rory Robert Lewis AN Other 2 Reserves If We line-up like that The AN OTHER could be the make or break.
  13. Does that make him a Yow Yow ? I get confused between them and Yam Yam's
  14. Robert Lambert surely would make a good guest for Ostergarrd. He should know the quickest way around The Showground.
  15. 1. NKI 2. SCHLEIN 3. NICHOLLS 4. THORSELL 5. LAMBERT 6. ELLIS 7. SPILLER
  16. I can see Young Lambert get rides abroad next season ( Think He already doing Poland and Germany) Throw Sweden and maybe Denmark into the mix and his availability maybe somewhat limited next season and which ever club he is at might have a real issue fitting their fixtures around his other committments. Where ever the Boy ends up he is a class act and the fans of that Club will be in for a treat, whenever he is available to ride.
  17. Fisher!! and his 6 fingers I think is best days are well behind him. Wouldnt mind if Buster threw a Pawlicki, as long as it was the right one... Oh By chance to dream.
  18. Would Love to see Freddie Lindgren in a Lynn Suit, but dont think Wolves would let him go for one Moment. Maybe a swap ( shock/horror) for NKI, would give us more to play with down the order. Kenni Larsen is another I would like to see join Lynn. Is it a sure thing that Lynn will be Elite next season, did Buster give any clues on this last night ? Buster and Rob have stuck with basically the same line-up for the last 2 seasons. Think next Year it needs a good freshen up, both from the fans and indeed the riders point of view.
  19. It would be a big surrpise if any of the first group in FTR's are allowed to stay at Reserve for next season. There has to be some kind of natural Progression. Then again will The Elite go with 2 FTR's again next year, or will it be cut to just 1.
  20. Did Buster mention anything about the 50th Year Celebration meeting or has this been out on hold until next year ?
  21. Effort is all well and good Trees, But where is the end result ? Thats what people will judge him and Buster on.
  22. Think With all this rain about I will look to follow it on updates, if it is run.
  23. Thanks Freddie. I wonder if this could be a stroke to be pulled for the play-offs should Lynn get that far.
  24. Thats true Steve, but to hell with it I dont mind Lynn taking a chance on Freddie
