  1. One of Norfolk's finest. Its not all about sugarbeet and Turkeys down here.
  2. You aint still bleating on about that that couple of bob you lost over at West Row ? At Least Simon you can say you gave it a go.
  3. Is Star Lady having an overnight stop at her Holiday Home in Sandbanks ?
  4. Gater its more to do with creditability. Poole are racing against a Elite/Premier League select 7
  5. A little like re-arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.
  6. NKI hasn't been exactly prolific of late so 7/8 from 4 might be par for the course
  7. Good call to get one of NKI's Danish meetings out of the away when there is an away fixture.
  8. I wouldn't disagree Skids. People moan about paying 17/18 notes for Elite ( I use the term loosely) League but have no problem, it seems, paying £35/40 for a Cardiff Grand Prix
  9. I would guess they ranged from 40-100 notes. How much were they in 1981 ?
  10. Speedway is a great product, it just seems a total lack of knowledge/ability to market it in the correct manner. Now if someone with that knowledge/ability could grab hold of it, then wow. I was looking at the highlights of the 1981 FA Cup final this morning and watching the marching band leave the pitch. Compare that with the total razzmatazz that went on before the start of 2015 final in Saturday.
  11. SL I think the fan base at speedway is now down to the hardcore. Most will put up with anything. You only have to look at the state of Speedway in general. There is so much wrong it's difficult to know where to start, yet that hardcore still turn up. The casual fans will still rock whenever there is a star attraction or fixture in Town
  12. I thought Middlo and Ford had developed a tight group with their riders. One for all and all for one. Isn't that why Magic was prepared to wait for a team place until they had sorted Darcy out. On that basis Magic will show how tight with his choice.
  13. It's a business. It gives Buster the chance to sell more food and drink, Plus the fans to have a look at the merchandise on sale with Jaybea. Also the track and medical staff to have a cuppa and a toilet break. Is it any difference to break to treat an injured rider ?
  14. I'm sure Magic will do the right thing by his Poole "Family" and show his true colours and loyalty
  15. Get his shoes shined Middlo and his bed turned down.
  16. With Sky there will be interesting to see if there is a delay waiting for the sun,
  17. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
  18. Easy Answer to the sun problem. Get Buster to fly his helicopter up there with an advertising banner, inbetween grading the track. Apre Moi la deluge as they say in Peckham.
  19. Albert Pierrepoint is alive and well. Thank You Poole. They never let you down. What a massive performance from The Stars. When the going gets tough and all that. Poole were lucky to scrape a point an inform NKI and they would have been toost. The big question is who will make way for God to return ? Rumour has it Middlo is plumping up the pillows already.
  20. The Trouble with a squad system is can you really expect riders to be set up with £x amount of equipment in the UK doing nothing ? These guys are self-employed. No ride No pay. Footballers have contracts where they get a salary whether or not they play, injured or just out of form. Big Big difference
  21. Well as Buster owns both the Speedway and the Football Club's in Lynn I think it is a very fair comparison.
