Speedway is a great product, it just seems a total lack of knowledge/ability to market it in the correct manner. Now if someone with that knowledge/ability could grab hold of it, then wow. I was looking at the highlights of the 1981 FA Cup final this morning and watching the marching band leave the pitch. Compare that with the total razzmatazz that went on before the start of 2015 final in Saturday.

SL I think the fan base at speedway is now down to the hardcore. Most will put up with anything. You only have to look at the state of Speedway in general. There is so much wrong it's difficult to know where to start, yet that hardcore still turn up. The casual fans will still rock whenever there is a star attraction or fixture in Town

The Trouble with a squad system is can you really expect riders to be set up with £x amount of equipment in the UK doing nothing ? These guys are self-employed. No ride No pay.
