Most teams get broken up at the end of each season. Either too good, or not good enough. Speedway is all about results. There is no long term plan with teams. Its all about today.

Once Ward is signed how long will it take him to hit his straps after being out for 10 months ? Swindon need a number one, what else is out there ?

King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

Can Buster really afford to put plenty of shale down ? It could turn into a dust storm if there is that much on there and he cant get on it after each race to water. -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

In the main the track has not been what it once was, but I did say 'at Times', and thats what we get. So lets hope tonight is one of those occasions. I still believe Alwarton is the best in the UK. Just a shame they cannot afford to stage top level UK racing there. -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

Win, Lose or Draw... 2 top Teams, Big Crowd, Sunshine, on one of the best tracks in the World ( at times) All the ingredients are there... Bring it on. Note. I think Buster will have his work cut out to keep any Moisture in that track. Or will Ronnie Russell be there telling him how it should be done ? -

Poole 10 points up, twice and still managed to blow it. They should have Albert Pirrepoint as their resident number 8 -

Why was it obvious that it had been in his pocket for ages ? Thinngs can look a little tatty and aged within a few hours of being in a pocket. -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

No Lynn were undone by a massive injury crisis No team could have overcome that. Except maybe Poole and Matt with his twisting of any rule that stands in his way. Buster always plays it with a straight bat. For Lynn its all about the taking part whilst for Poole its more win at all costs. Still each to their own. -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

This one really is Poole's to lose. I think their current batting average is around 53/54 Points. Lynn's is around the mid 40's. Poole have by far and away the more experienced manager, so should really all point Poole's way. Can Lynn cause an upset and turn the tables, will Poole Chokers live up to their name ? All will be revealed come Wednesday -

I dont think the type of drink Ward seems to enjoy would keep you hydrated. Forgot about the all that traffic coming on to the 47 out of Costessey. Back roads for me. -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

Think This one will be close, Holders is back bang in form. The Poole Reserves could just swing it in the Pirates favour. Can Milik and Bjerre outgun Magic and North ? Will Watt be as poor as last time ? Did Porsing start to turn his season around last week. Can Lambert take a scalp or 2 from the Grand Prix boys ? Will NKI, Magic or Holder have one eye on Cardiff ? Will Star Lady give weather reports ? Enough questions there for people to get their teeth into -

GRW, I meant it was a great debut from the new lad Milik, but Lets just wait and see if he can produce that level of performance week in week out. -

The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
semion replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I dont think what happened could be classed as a punch up. To me it looked like Greg rugby tackled Nicki quite high up. Even in the sport of rugby I am not sure you wouldnt cop a ban for a tackle that high. Prehaps an Egg chasing fan could tell us. Someone even suggested to me it was more like an WWF Closeline attack. -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
semion replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The problem is also Greg came off when Nicki left him nowhere to and was thrown out of the race. Nicki could have pulled the same move and Greg stayed on. My money would be on the ref doing nothing to exclude Nicki. So riders have to fall for another to get excluded. Just because a rider doesnt fall, does it make the manourve any less dangerous ? -

The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock

Hancock has put down a marker with Pedersen. I wonder if other riders will follow Hancocks lead In saying enough is enough with Pedersen. Be interesting to see what happens the the next time NP fences a rider. In years gone by there would have been certain riders who would have, shall we say..'calmed him down' -
Enjoy the Boy while you have him. Its only a one year thing anyway for Boro. Maybe the boy is pacing himself for the season and looking at the bigger picture. He is still a boy remember ( and growing) who hopefully has a lot of Speedway years and good earning Potential ahead of him. maybe his parents are protecting him. can anyone really balme them. Peterborough fans are looking at things through their eyes, maybe Rob Lambert and his family are looking at things in a different way.
