The rider on the DVD sleeve in the turquoise leathers, is it Jan O Pedersen from 1987-88?

Didn't watch any this weekend too busy, but well done to Lublin, great comeback considering the loss of AJ. Be interesting to see what they do when Laguta is available, guessing Lambert will drop to the silly #8 position. Surprised Gorzów kept so close in Częstochowa, thought Zmarzlik would be a one man team away from Edward Jancarz Stadium this season.

Speedway GP Qualifiers.

Lindback must be confident of getting in the top 8. -
Peterborough v Belle Vue PSC - Mon 1st April
Col replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If I were a Panthers fan I'd be gutted, promised Harris & Cook, end up with Tungate & Summers. Thought you'd win tonight, but Belle Vue heatlaeders & reserves proved too strong. Maybe a blessing long term, can't carry on with that septet. -
Strongest/Weakest Heatleaders, Middle Order, Reserves
Col replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't think King, Pieszczek, Bellego are weak compared to other teams engine room. Top 2 - strongest Swindon, weakest Ipswich. Engine room - strongest Wolverhampton, weakest Kings Lynn. Reserves - strongest Ipswich, weakest Swindon. -
Well I can't make predictions based on team changes that may or may not occur, can I.
-
Kings Lynn, Ipswich and one other to miss out on the playoffs.

Who has the strongest top 3 riders??

Not convinced, but allot depends how Bewley does, post injury. -

But in Doyle, Swindon have a rider who can win heats 13 & 15 at any track. Something Wolves lack. Both are probably past their peak but Batchelor is a few years younger than Schlien, and Batchelor is still competing in Poland & Sweden not the Championship. Batchelor was also a GP rider for a couple of years something Schlien never was or will be. Would suggest there is probably a little more to come from Musielak, not convinced there is from Thorsell. Strangely if someone had asked who have the strongest top 4, I'd probably have gone for Wolves. -

Swindon top 3 is way ahead of any other team. -
Gdansk is indeed an awful track, scenic but touristy city though. The search for a meeting to attend on 19/05 goes on! Isn't the Championship pairs being held at Somerset the night before Cardiff? If it isn't I'll be annoyed as that is the first time in a long time there hasn't been a meeting at Somerset the night before the Cardiff GP and this will be my first Cardiff GP for many years (I got bored of watching Crump win!).

That team could go a whole season without winning a heat away from Foxhall.
-
It wasn't a criticism, I have never seen him ride either track. I have just heard tales of Gollob being rather unimpressed on first visit to Manchester greyhound stadium
-
I think Gollob objected to Kirkmanshulme Lane much more than Monmore Green.
-
Think Leicester changes were done with cost cutting in mind, once Vaculik & King got injured their season was over.
-
Accoring to http://www.svemo.se/sv/ in 2019 Sundström is riding for Piraterna in Elitserien & VIP Speedway in Allsvenskan. Both clubs are based at Motala.
-
Hancock also likely to be a spoiler, the Finns & French didn't disgrace themselves last year either. Germany should secure third behind Sweden & Poland in the other semi, Milik & Zagar to be the spoilers at that one.
-
Bydgoszcz would be the obvious candidate, the track hosted the SWC less than 5 years ago ( what a night it was). Stadium is in desperate need of investment & TLC. But a great track, with great history.
-
Well thats a flawed theory for NKI, on his 7.6ish average he is a far more attractive signing tham his 9.00 reassessed GP rider average would be after the 18/05.

I came on here (for the first time in a while) to read what the dwindling Monmore faithfuls had to say about the predictable final signings for my now only local team. Oh well. I might come back in two weeks such abuse was only normally reserved for Bees v Pirates threads.
