  1. Thanks for the map. So why did they ever host World Finals & GP's in Gothenburg? Nowhere near an active Speedway track?
  2. They injury to Dudek certainly gives Vastervik hope.
  3. Only Lawson has let the Rebels down really. BWD & Allen have thrown a point away each but you have to expect that from riders starting the season on sub 4 point averages.
  4. Difficult to call heat 8 but I thought if there was a winner it wasn't Jacobson.
  5. Fair enough. Didn't realise it was a humerus break. The quote on SGP site just says "Unlikely" to ride again this season. Falubaz could certainly use him in the Ekstraliga relegation playoff.
  6. Cool. Pretty sure Vastervik is my favourite Swedish track.
  7. Is it confirmed Dudek is out of Torun? I certainly wouldn't expect him back in time for Teterow but I think he might have recovered enough for Torun. If not he still has a reasonably healthy advantage (14 points) over 9th in the standings and largely out of form Sayfutdinov. Surely 10th in the rankings Zagar, also recently injured, will not make up the 23 points he is behind Dudek in two meetings. Should Dudek not retain his top 8 place I wouldn't expect it to be given that he gets a Wildcard being Polish with Janowski & Zmarzlik ahead of him and Kolodziej already qualified. He could count himself unlucky if he doesn't. Hampel was second in the rankings after 3 events when he got injured at the SWC a few years ago, no sign of him being given a Wildcard. I also think Vaculik will be unlucky if he misses out one a Wildcard due to his early season injury. NKI has qualified so I doubt a Danish rider will get a Wildcard, both Lindgren & Lindback have qualified so no Swedish permanent Wildcard. I just hope Holder doesn't get a spot, his performances have certainly not justified his inclusion in the series for the last two years. Cue Dorset hate coming my way..... For the record I'm no fan of Woffinden or Zmarzlik in particular but I'd rather have a British World Champion than a Polish one.
  8. NKI, a far more capable rider than Klindt Tweeted sonething similar about his most recent visit to Wimbourne Rd.
  9. Terrible meeting from Gorzow. Leszno will win 2nd leg by 12 points easy, they have 7 riders that will score. Gorzow have Zmarzlik & Vaculik that will certainly score.
  10. Assumed so. At least the BSPA have acknowledged Lambert's paricipation in the SEC this year, maybe they'll offer to host a round or qualifier. 2018 was top 5 from 2017. 6 from qualification & 4 Wildcards. Same again? Yes, I am aware Lambert got an extra Wildcard because Laguta (podium in 2017) pulled out.
  11. I don't suppose the details of qualifying for next years SEC are known or even rumoured yet?
  12. Thank god for Antonio Lindback, had it not been for him that would be the worst meeting I had ever sat through. That track made Leicester, Swindon, Vetlanda, Gdansk & Krsko look good entertainment wise. Well done Robert Lambert for securing a spot next year & a bronze overall. Invaluable experience. Lindback also qualifies for next year but with the GP's will he want it? Think we need to see how Dan Bewley is post injury.
  13. Watched the meeting from Eskilstuna. MJJ again disappointing plus Iversen throwing a win away with that out of character fall. Having seen the conditions when the meeting was due to start I'm amazed that they were able to stage a meeting let alone prepare a track which produced some reasonable racing. Doyle looked as close to his 2016/17 form as I have seen. Lambert did well, still think his gating can let him down against the very best.
  14. Rubbish meeting. Drug test for Holder? Just hope this Swallow doesn't mean he gets a Wildcard.
  15. Looks like Swindon ended their season in stalemate, luckily. Any keepers in that septet (other than Zee Dub).
  16. Congratulations to Vastervik, tremendous meeting to watch on TV. Ljung & Madsen (surprised me) were excellent entertainment. Vetlanda's chances evaporated in heat 3 with Jonassons exclusion & Madsens bike problem. Fair play to the team manager, he did everything possible with the TSs available. Except for Pedersen the GP riders on show didn't have a good nights.
  17. Proctor pulling out of the meeting at one of his former tracks, what a stroke of luck.
  18. Wolves win, for Stars to take a point home, Iversen & Proctor need to match Lambert.
  19. Looks like the Ekstraliga fixtures next week are largely redundant, which is a shame. Only seen the recording on TV box from Free Sports. Riders very well behaved for Green Light start but the commentator was far too excitable. Standard fare racing wise that I'd expect from Wroclaw. Shame Czestochowa had injury problems for Lindgren & Zagar at a crucial time but it is part & percel of the sport.
  20. I guess I was lucky to be at Gorzow for the GP two years ago, it was admittedly not as good this year as previoulsy. Wroclaw v Rybnik which I attended last year, the SoN this year & the World Final which Havelock won in atrocious conditions is all I believe I have seen of Wroclaw.
  21. Wroclaw replaces Gorzow on the calendar. Both good stadiums, Gorzow is a better track for racing from the limited views I've had of both.
  22. If they do indeed schedule Prague the week after Warsaw I will probably adjust travel plans and do both in one trip, makes sense.
