  1. Well they were wearing Glasgow Tigers race suit with #3 on the back but it doesn't look big enough to be Dan Thompson.
  2. Who did a few pre meeting laps? Looked fairly accomplished.
  3. Interesting rut developing in line with gate 3 going towards first bend.
  4. Oops... this was meant to be Brummies v Lions thread, forgot to edit topic fully after copying title of other thread.. Sorry! Been away for weekend so first time I've had chance to look at forum. Are there no longer any mods operating here?
  5. Track looking well watered at the moment. Haven't been to midday BHM fixture for a while, looking very busy. Bad timing for the roadworks on Kirkmanshulme Lane! Hope no problems getting here for Bewley & Kurtz after late meeting in Poland last night.
  6. Second bank holiday fixture for me, it's like the Dudley-Wolves days of my youth only much more travelling and less niggle on the terraces! Lions to win by 10 on the final Speedway to ever be raced in the West Midlands ☹️
  7. Well this will be the first of two fixtures for me on Monday, weather forecast is good at the moment, Leon Flint to clean up at reserve but Aces top 4 get them enough points to creep over 45?
  8. A bit harsh on Cook, while his away form has been poor he's been good at the NSS. Hope Zagar has a good night, could be his last visit to NSS.
  9. Manchester City Centre to Altrincham is more like 45 mins than 10!
  10. Not really sure Manchester Storm Ice Hockey count... they're based in Altrincham.
  11. That is a problem at Owlerton, 3/4 bends is definitely the best view due to the shallow steps on the home straight terracing & equipment on the dog track.
  12. 2021 was when RS was introduced, Flint was Wolves RS for 22 & 23 also. Brummies 24. Tigers 25 Born February 2003 so will be 23 when the next season commences.
  13. Looks like an iffy performance from the Premiership form team against one of also rans.
  14. Tigers always better Aces over 2 legs... until the playoffs Zishcke & Mulford get 6-7 between them.... don't be silly, Flint & Etheridge won't drop a point to them at NSS.. they may take a point off Rowe... Not sure I've seen him at NSS. Can't remember seeing Morris either.

  16. No about 10! Yes it was and the best was yet to come in heat 12... Rew v Harris was tremendous. Sadly that was the last time the outside line worked because there was nothing out wide in the final 3 heats. Kvech gets passed by Barker in his 3rd ride then comfortably wins heat 13 in the quickest heat of the night.

  18. A queue to get in.... What's this? Unfortunate timing I think doesn't look like there are any more people than usual inside the stadium.
  19. So Flint (5.81) could move into the top 5 with Rowe (5.61) at 6 and Etheridge (4.76 BV 2022) at reserve?
  20. Interesting comments from Pickering on the pod cast, Flint is riding awesome and will be in main body of the team soon... He's a RS isn't he?
  21. Sheffield will win the toss, Belle Vue will be of the graveyard gate 3 times in the first 4 heats which will result in the Aces being 12 points behind by the start of heat 5.
  22. Kings Lynn will win this evening even if Kerr only scores 4 and I'd suggest he'll score better than you have predicted. He's almost guaranteed to win heat 2!
  23. Guessing rock / paper / scissors rather than a coin toss for gate positions?
  24. The Tigers of Sheffield would like to thank Birmingham Speedway for two pathetic performances at Perry Barr which made our journey down the M1 worthwhile.... but mostly for lowering the average of Tobias Musielak, he's looking primed for a Owlerton return in 2026.
