  1. When they look at Jason Doyle, I hope they hang their heads in shame.
  2. Ekstraliga & GP'd only in 2020? Not convinced a less busy schedule in any way increases a riders performance.
  3. How come? Another great performance from the Blacksmiths, congratulations to them. Awful Dackarna performance again, probably worse than previous night. Janowski & Jacobsen the only riders who can be mildly satisfied with their performances.
  4. That did occur to me afterwards, Lambert is however riding in both meetings.
  5. If Thorsell brings his Swedish playoff form it's Swindon in the final for sure.
  6. Also Jakub Miskowiak and Karol Zupinski named as track reserves & Krister Gardell as referee. Miskowiak is odd, he's the poorer of the two Czestchowa reserves, his greatest moment that I'm aware of is being overtaken by Emil Sayfutdinov's wall of death in the league match at the SGP Arena Częstochowa the day after the Warsaw GP. Żupiński appears to ride for Gdańsk for whom he is averaging under 5 pts a meeting (1.024 a ride) in Nice 1.LŻ. Can anyone shed any light on those track reserve choices. Surely Dominik Kubera & Wiktor Lampart are better prospects? Kubera was reserve at Warsaw but didn't ride, Lampart has been ignored totally.
  7. Adrian Miedzinski named as wildcard, who's he gonna nobble?
  8. It was late Frederik Jakobsen is who I meant, he is the Dane who was at Poole last year isn't he? There was a Frederik Eriksson once, was there not?
  9. Dudek was awful, Piotr Pawlicki somehow managed to be worse. Janowski is about the only Malila rider who did himself justice. Eriksson was Ok. Berntzon really let himself down with the exclusion. Except for Woetin all the Smederna riders all had decent night's but could have been better. Can't see Dackarna winning by 18 points tomorrow. Same septet's tomorrow?
  10. Certainly two people can watch Czestchowa for £15 this year, not sure about other teams entry prices.
  11. Of the four teams that made the play-offs Leszno are the least well supported in terms of paying spectators - https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/en/stats/frekwencja/
  12. A couple of years ago the PGE Ekstraliga website used to list the budget for each club per season. I can''t imagine that Leszno team is anywhere near as expensive in terms of wages as the Zielona Gora team.
  13. On one hand that's good in that it could attract more youngsters one the other hand the route to Cardiff is also the route to allot of UK holiday destinations. The M5 also goes to Cornwall & Devon. Also the hotels will be more expensive! Not so good for speedway fans who don't have children of school age.
  14. You'll be fine with a credit/debit card anywhere in Poland. Can't see Dudek getting a wildcard if he slips outside the top 8. I'm sure they'd rather give a Polish wildcard to one of Drabik or Smektala to freshen things up.
  15. The racing wasn't great on Saturday. It has been a few years since I've been to a Cardiff GP (2008 I think) but it seemed to me that it was done more on a budget than previously, but perhaps I've been spoiled by the slickness of Poland in recent years. The date for next year looks an absolute nightmare, right at the start of the School Holidays.
  16. Unfortunately while I was driving to work about 7:15 that morning Alan Brazil referred to him as World Superbike Champion.
  17. Allot depends on the team building limits, but I'm sure there will be more in demand riders than Ellis & Aarnio. How is Morris' recovery going, will he even be fit?
  18. Understood. Holsted look the strongest team, but admittedly some of those names are lost on me.
  19. Aarnio rode for Scunthorpe in 2017 according to the averages on the BSPA site.
  20. Hahaha. So funny. It's the BSPA, for whatever reason they try not to tell supporters anything.
  21. Fair enough on Aarnio, you have to hope his parent club deem him surplus to requirements.
