  1. It will be interesting to see how many takers there are for him on his 2019 average
  2. When it was announced, that is what I thought it was. The whole Cook/Peterborough saga then followed which changed things. Still not sure how Belle Vue managed to finish below the Witches.
  3. Didn't say Jensen was rubbish at Perry Barr, he was decent. He is being lauded as a world beater this year. He's so much better than Lampart he's helped to win Swindon the title. He may do the same for Glasgow. Only seen Ayres ride twice. Once in person, got excluded for rolling at the start twice in one heat. British final on TV when I actually burst out laughing as he couldn't help but ride too wide & hit then fence, thinking Harris might overtake him when Harris had settled for second a lap earlier. A genius he doesn't strike me as. As surprised as you were when Thorsell performed awful in the British playoffs. Now wait... Didn't I having seen how badly he performed in the Swedish playoffs predict it?
  4. Agertoft would be a poor signing even at reserve. Better British riders on lower averages are surely available.
  5. Couldn't make it to Leicester last night sadly. Looks like the tie is well balanced before the second leg. Leicester favourites but the heat 15 5-1 for Glasgow gives them hope.
  6. No problem weather wise in Leicester today?
  7. Razza Jensen was pants at Owlerton. Ayres rode like an idiot guesting for Birmingham, name another rider who gets warned at the start for rolling then excluded for rolling again in the rerun. My 2019 riders. The whole Leszno team (Excepting Kurtz & Hampel) visiting Czestochowa. Humiliated Madsen, Lindgren & Zagar et al on their home shale. Wroclaw were not far behind on doing the same thing. Becker & Lebedevs at SoN semi, Belle Vue. Mixed it with the stars on show, real spoilers. Both have impressed on TV. Erik Riss at Perry Barr. In a class of his own. Charles Wright is a proper late bloomer. James Shanes, just for his gutsy performance against Eastbourne at Perry Barr. More passes on one night than I saw on the TV during 6 Premiership playoff matches. Ellis Perks gets a mention, was great for Leicester at Perry Barr. Awful as a Brummies guest previously. His heart if not his speed were enough to subdue any Ipswich silverware hopes.
  8. Is it? Huge chunk out of whatever the team building limit is. To similar in my opinion, neither can be relied upon to make a date when it matters. Great entertainers though.
  9. As stated I was taking the figures from the latest GSA's on the BSPA site, that seemed more upto date (1/10) than the averages section (06/09).
  10. I'm not sure who would infuriate me more on my visits to Perry Barr. Harris for missing the gate or Paco (if resigned) for not moving off the curb.
  11. He had a Witch on his chest, that makes it his home track regardless of how often he has ridden there. More importantly he is not facing any riders who would consider themselves Foxhall their home track.
  12. He was leading both heats when they were stopped and rerun. I'd consider that unlucky, that said for a rider of his calibre he should be scoring more at home.
  13. Not sure they could have done much worse. NKI going through the tapes in heat 1 at Swindon was the end of any potential (however unlikely) Ipswich fight back however unlucky he was in the first leg.
  14. Harris's average is 8.65 according to GSA Issue 33 1.10.19 on BSPA site. The only riders with higher averages are Masters (9.14), Cook (10.49), Wright (9.38), E Riss (8.84), King (8.95) & Schlein (8.69). Would think Erik Riss a great signing fro the Brummies, he was untouchable on his one visit to Perry Barr last year, but with Garrity already signed that team might be top heavy. With Shanes & Morris it adds up to 35.75. I do think that the rules insisting that the rider with the highest average has to be at #1, I'd always rather than the best rider in a team at #5 as they have 3 rides with a reserve.
  15. FFS. I'd started enjoying Championship Speedway. Now I've got to put up with that bunch of glory hunting southern clueless £&#+ers invading every thread again. I really hope Poole stay in a different division to Birmingham. No, I don't enjoy watching weekly Speedway at Monmore, even if Wolves are in a different division to Poole & their heard of annoying keyboard warriors, don't feel the need to invade every forum thread.
  16. Lebedevs seems to be indicating via Instagram that he has signed for Eskilstuna.
  17. Would anyone really care? I'd not bother. It us meaningless. If Denmark cared Jepsen-Jensen & Michelson would be there. If GB cared Lambert would.
  18. I'd hope Garrity is 3rd in the start of season Brummie averages, riding at #4. Not a #5. Wouldn't touch either Dane who tootled around Perry Barr in Red & Yellow last year. Tobias Thomsen is not young, Nick Agertoft is If rumours are to be believed could Brummies field. 1. Aarnio or Covatti . 2. Morris. 3. Shanes. 4. Garrity. 5. Harris. 6. Castagna. 7. Hume. Does a teams #1 have to be the rider with the highest average? It takes away the craft of a team manager imposing such rules IMO.
  19. Yet better than Iversen, King & Lawson at Swindon tonight. Pathetic, just less pathetic. Heeps & Sarjeant rode so much like NL novices it's difficult to tell.
  20. Awful meeting entertainment wise, fair play to Jake Allen at least he made the Robins work. The rest of the Witches were utterly pathetic. The referee was less awful than every Witch. Congratulations Swindon
  21. Artem Laguta will run him close with a few more seasons.
