  1. Ooooo Kevin I am very impressed with you Imagine you thinking of shortbread and just for that I will make sure I bake a special batch for you
  2. It pleases me too I have seen this group a few times and believe me they will get the party going. They are not only good but fun as well
  3. What can I say! This was a fantastic weekend The ice racing was phenomenal. I was totally gobsmacked at seeing my first ice speedway race as a certain video will show Brilliant meetings and a super slick show. Speedway in this country could learn a lot about presentation and how to run a slick show. I loved the cheesy music that was played as it really got the crowd going or that might have been the drink.....hic Frankie Zorn and Dimitri Bulankin are now my heroes but it was great to see "Posa" race too. Brilliant to meet up with Joanne again and also to meet two lovely gentlemen in Doc and Conkers Roll on next March!
  4. I have heard so much about htis guy and I am so looking forward to seeing him ride. 9 days and counting
  5. It's certainly quite a collection and I am sure you will be inundated with fans looking to buy
  6. Anthony rode up here for Edinburgh, Berwick, Glasgow (I think), and Newcastle at different stages but sadly he never made it as a conventional speedway rider. I think he may have had team spots at Bradford and Oxford at one time too. He was always fairly good on the ice and went on to America to pursue that career and has done really well. Last time I heard he lived in St Louis.
  7. Britneyspears beat you to it http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=15764
  8. Oh dear Joanne. I fear that comment will set the forum alight again Or is it just my over active mind
  9. Thanks for the info Lunchy and BrizHeathen I would dearly love to come over to Australia and you never know that could well happen in the next couple of years. I just can't get my head around flying to and from meetings once there tho But this year I am concentrating on getting to Poland to see my hero (Tomasz Gollob) in action
  10. Hope this isn't a stupid question but on huge tracks like that do the riders still do four laps? The reason I ask is I am sure someone told me some years back that at some big tracks there are only three laps? Fact or fiction Lunchy?
  11. Sounds just like something we say here in Scotland every summer Lissa Enjoy Tamworth and best of luck to Rory, Cameron, Matthew and Robert.
  12. Or the fact you had no voice and couldn't say
  13. You did one last season Cheetahhawk Dale Devils v Oxford then Berwick at night for the individual meeting.
  14. When the fours rounds used to be on the go the Sunday meeting was first at Glasgow then a fast drive down the road for riders and fans for the evening meeting. Many memories of brilliant fours weekends Sadly missed
  15. Why not? These kids could be the future and everyone should try and support them as much as possible.
  16. A slipped disc??? I find that very hard to believe unless he is superhuman when it comes to pain.
  17. You could be right Lunchy. Let's hope for his sake he can relax and pick up his game and show you all just what a polished performer he really is. Jeez this talk of watching speedway now makes me desperate for our season to start. Enjoy
  18. Not surprised Rory is cheesed off. Poor soul is having a nightmare championships
  19. Thank you guys The Exloo link I clicked on didn't have the line-up. Frankee will be pleased now
  20. True so I gather I must be looking in the wrong place. Oh well
  21. I did that Iris but alas my German isn't that good.
  22. You mean whoever "informed" you that you would be going doesn't even know the line-up? Shame on him. Tell him to phone home and ask Bart I did look on the speedway.org site but though it does mention the meeting I couldn't see a line-up.
