  1. Gutted that due to ill health my trip trip to Bydgoszcz has been cancelled I was so looking forward to meeting up with all you lovely people too (especially Joanne and Kev again) Hope you all have a great time. I will be thinking of you all partying away
  2. Sad news Thoughts with Antonin's family and friends.
  3. Another day of good news as far as recoveries are concerned. Long may it continue. Thank you for the update.
  4. I am not disagreeing with that. But your arguement in your first post for not including Ashworth was based on the fact that he stayed in the PL therefore in your opinion he showed no ambition so shouldn't be included in the squad. But this is Ollie's second stab in the EL isn't it? Didin't he find it tough going the first time and came back to the PL to get himself sorted? Can't Ashworth be afforded that consideration too. Personally I don't think Ashworth is ready for the GB squad but you can't use the arguement if he is in the PL then he should be overlooked. Havvy isn't and Carl Stonehewer certainly wasn't a few years back.
  5. Now that is interesting especially as Gary Havelock chose to go PL this year and hasn't Middlo called Havvy in to the squad. So team GB are looking to the past rather than the future are they not I think what is rather harsh is saying when young rider finds it too hard financially to compete in the EL it's called "lack of ambition"? I am sure Ricky Ashworth will be back in that most revered of leagues when the time is right for him and he can afford it.
  6. But depite Wiiliam's brilliant performances this season he was overlooked for the squad then later on asked to be on standyby as a reserve. Bloody cheek but then he isn't English is he so will be overlooked for the squad properly Anyway it all pales in to insignificance now since William was injured on Monday
  7. I can't believe a year has passed already since Rafal's untimely death. Again R.I.P
  8. Great result for Henrik. Well done wee man
  9. Those pics brought back some lovely memories. I treasure the photos I have of one of my all time favourites. Will look out for Tommy's book.
  10. Sadly I have had to withdraw from the Assen trip due to ill health Hope you all have a great time and we will catch up again next year Conkers. Meanwhile I will console myself with the great pics that you will put on your website
  11. Surely if it's in black and white in the email with the original price then the Premier Travel Inn cannot change their prices to that customer? If they can then surely that means whatever you have in writing from a company means diddly squat. I would challenge it Holbeachfans.
  12. To be honest why bother checking with the changes in times when we are still seven months away from flying. As Dennis Norden said it will be alright on the night and that's from someone who has to get a connecting flight
  13. Well said F4E and to be honest I don't recognise the Rory Schlein that Rod Colquhoun talks about blink
  14. Sounds good doesn't it Well done Cam
  15. Same as the Chivsy Travel Group Thursday was a far cheaper flight anyway
  16. We found a brilliant travel agent to organise our trip He sure will. Pammie and I are planning it already
  17. Thanks for your run down on the meeting Luchy This was posted on the Monarchs Chatzone re Shane's withdrawal: Story taken from the Gillman Speedway site today Parker Out Lyons In !! In a shock decision, Shane Parker has pulled out of this Saturday night's South Australian Solo Championship. After running and competing in his testimonial meeting a fortnight ago, he has decided not to compete as he said that he is mentally drained and not in the right frame of mind to compete. As for Cameron his Scottish landlord posted that Cameron had a big toe injury.
