  1. I would prefer it if the mods wouldnt amend my posts 2 months before should cover the lead up the each GP Mr Turner And as for being beaten by a Poole Fan - just proves that all the biggest losers come from Poole
  2. Delighted with 2nd in the Losers Cup - now I know that if I enter my bets on-time before each GP, my scores will be counted
  3. Can't believe people are getting so shirty over the fact they can't get rooms etc. As far as I'm aware the rooms are now mostly pre-pay................so if people are paying for the rooms then there is no problem IMO. Last year was different - just tell em how many rooms and pay on the day. Nearly changed my name to Travelodge Direct last year
  4. Couple of cars leaving Coventry late Friday night for the ferry etc to Calais and a old type World Final trip is on the menu - plenty of travelling and not much sleep But cant wait should be good fun
  5. But didnt really beat anyone that he shouldnt anyway But fair play - he rode well
  6. Do the Poole fans/Supporters Club if there is one have any plans for showing the Final on Saturday night? I will be in that area for the majority of the next week or so and wondered if it will be shown? All details welcome
  7. Does no-one else think that Australia at 9/4 on Saturday is worth a punt? Team for Team Crump/Adams should match Nikki and Hans Rory and Sully are riding well and I think they could match Bjarne and Niels Dont think Bjerre is much cop whilst Holder might shine.
  8. Personally I would say Big Josh in September - that will take your breath away
  9. Was a great nights racing and entertainment. With the temporary tracks you will always get a bit of unpredictability but the riders knew where the bumps and grooves were - if they chose to ride into them then more fool them Awesome performance from Bomber Thought Scotty deserved his semi final place for his efforts Nice to see Crumpy knuckle down and produce probably his best ride of the GP season in overhauling Scotty Lovely to see Hans, AJ and Nicki get up after their crashes And one final comment.....just how many Poles were there
  10. this year we are in the 2nd bend lower tier
  11. Shush ya moaning !!! you'll probably be too drunk to sing along anyway!!
  12. You could have changed if you wanted! Lets be fair - there wouldnt have been that much room for the other 2 anyway
  13. Well as someone who went to this year's X Factor tour I can tell you that it wasnt as bad as people think. Ray was good - and Im sure the song he will sing at Cardiff will be a bit of a sing along Brenda wasnt on the tour but think she did something in the West End But the McDonald Brothers rocked the Tour - they were quality fun and entertainment. Some of you might slag them all off - but I'd rather these than Bonnie Tyler or Suzi Quatro as weve had before
  14. So post it on a internet forum for people at the BSPA/BSI to read and withdraw that facility on the day
  15. But he is a winner, is top of the World Championship and is without doubt one of the most entertaining riders to watch. Now if Scotty started showing a bit of passion........
  16. Congratulations to Leigh. Love the way he passed Hans in the final - especially as for 3 and a half laps of the final I thought my 12-1 was lost. Lovely stuff Leigh
  17. This will be taken to the Competition Commission and all proof will be available for the Competition Organiser to check. He's only gutted cos of the abuse he has given me over the last 2 seasons
  18. Stevebrum Did we say anywhere Harris earned his right to be in the GP? Nope! He was picked by BSI Ask any "normal" speedway fan without the tinted glasses and Harris has a better chance of winning the British Final than David Howe - no matter what track its on Thanks as always
  19. Yawn stevebrum Harris IMO will struggle in the GP series this year - but at least he is in there and will provide excitement whilst being in there. He wont win a round, quite probably wont get near a rostrum finish - but he wont be giving up - he doesnt know how to. Now whereas you have Britain's great white hope David Howe in your side - even on his own track he wont even win the British Final I know which one I'd prefer - thanks for contributing on a thread for a proper team
  20. I was told that next year would be their last year as the contract runs out in 2007. Hope it is there, cos it was a great place to visit
