  1. From reading the thread and then looking at the pictures, it is obvious that the FIM have cocked-up one of the most prestigious meetings in the speedway calendar. It will obviously be disappointing for the likes of Suchanek, Lindgren, Lindback etc etc, but the one person i feel sorry for is Kasprzak. Obviously he wouldnt have wanted to win it that way, and no doubt when he looks back on it, he will know that the championship he won will be clouded in doubt. Feel sorry for all the fans that have travelled to Austria for the meeting, and although it wont happen the right result would be for the meeting to be re-run completely.
  2. Great to see Stuart beating Bjarne Pedersen and Niels Kristian Iversen on their home track
  3. Superb thunderstorms yesterday which put the practice in a bit of doubt but the track held up to quite a bit of rain. At practice yesterday Hancock looked fast Lindback was fast and smooth until his little cartwheel Nicki looked a bit rusty after his injury Zagar 2nd division dirt track rider couldnt handle the wide open spaces Cant wait for tonight - anybody get me a fiver ew on Hancock
  4. Exactly my thoughts Kevin How would they get around the net and umpires chair
  5. I had heard a small rumour that the Cardiff GP might be moved to later in the season, cos it has a roof and there is no doubt it can go ahead. Makes sense really
  6. The chivster will be there. Really looking forward to it already
  7. Thanks to the info from tarabanko Stuart scored 3+1 from his 4 rides this evening 0 - 1 - 1 - 1* He came last in his first ride. Beat Matej Zagar in his 2nd. Beat Andreas Messing in his 3rd and beat Adam Shields in his 4th (although Adam fell off and i dont know what position he was in) his team won easily though 59-37
  8. Never had a problem with Lee, he was a good servant for the Bees in his time there, and it was great to see him get a max. However he did have the luck go his way tonight - but fair play to him. But whether or not his pass of Nicki was "genuine" - it had me yelling my head off
  9. Start Tart Get a life They just rode their balls off for 3 hours, and all you can do is moan about the National Anthem - jeez go and clean your brolly off
  10. If i had known there was a load in the pub i would have waved!!
  11. And its reported Kasparzak is out of the Poole match with an injury - we are on about the same Kasparzak aren't we
  12. Nice start for Danny (3,1) Shrammy has improved (0,3) Morten is battling (1,2) But Hlib looks in a different class (3,3)
  13. Whats all this Chives nonsense I had to get matt to use him camera memory up cos his speedway pics are rubbish
  14. Track wasnt great - however there was plenty of incident Ive said before - you could have a deep track with only one line and have 23 races of pure boredom. The track meant some top riders had to chase and ride a bit harder which kept us entertained all night. As Gemini has stated - only 3 heats all night didnt have a pass in - surely that is value for money? And so what if someone was waving - waving and arm doesnt have an effect on the grader that is on the tractor for christs sake
  15. Rob, As you know I have nothing against Greg, but i believe that the injury actually came about because Chrzanowski couldnt hold onto his bike when he laid it down which hit Greg. OK I am sure people will say that Nikki stuffed Greg first making him fall, however Greg did stuff Jason a bit later on. I personally dont have a problem with Nikki as a rider - he gives it out, but he can also take it.
  16. from being there in person each year that was by far the biggest crowd so far at the Millenium Stadium
  17. Ok can i just add something here Spoke to a couple of "trackmen" today who were at the practice and the track was actually grippy today - whether that remains the case or not for tomorrow i dont know
