  1. Everyone quite rightly is going on about the stadium but is the track fit to host a world final. The FIM have strict rules on the size of a track being used for a FIM meeting with the straights being on measurment and also the width of the bends and if I remember rightly Reading is not the widest of tracks.
  2. where is the crowd tonight ???????????????????????? very very poor
  3. Thanks for that but the site is booked up and has been for over five months the guy told me so I need to find another one which is close too. thanks
  4. Can anyone help with information on camp sites near Cardiff for the GP next year are they any good and is it difficult to get transport out of the city back to the site. cheers for any help
  5. Mine would be not sure if its five or six picks 1 Ryan Sullivan 2 Lee Richardson 3 Scott Nicholls 4 Hans Andersen 5 Rune Holta 6 Kenneth Bjerre if its six Sure I read that this years top eight with the two qualifiers plus one wildcard per round These were with the exception of Bjarne Pedersen the next riders from 8th down so it might explain JPs comment that the wild cards pick themselfs really.
  6. Easy this one NO WAY SHOULD MILLDO GO he is still the top man for the job and why anyone should think any different are on another planet.
  7. Well how did the ref help us "big tme" the only favour he did was not exclude scottie when he did not turn on the first turn. What about the race when bjerre should have been kicked out. The race when Lee was blocked when the pole lost his chain was rightly stoped as every other rider that was complaining would have expected the race to be stoped if it was them. And the red light well that was a hard desision as no other rider seen it. Now the facts to me of the final race (after watching it over and over) you can see that as Scottie lines up the inside with karlsson outside him ANDERSEN looks over his right shoulder and quite clearly kocks his throttle off while moving slightly over to the left. This in turn forces scottie to change lines and use the outside to pass. If ANDERSEN had stayed where he was going into the third turn there was no room for karlsson to get by on the outsie leaving the inside line for scott to try. This guy ANDERSEN has let the sport down but most importanly himself down. His actions on track this season only what has been shown on sky are unbelivable and so are his coments afterwards. He really sees himself as doing nothing wrong ever. Im just glad Im not a Ipswich fan as I could not support this rider in any way. Well done to the teamGB guys you did yourselfs and your contry proud.
  8. Thats a good score chart SCB but is there any way it could be made bigger as I needed a magnifying glass to read and fill it in. Was very useful looking ahead to see who was left to ride in them last few exciting heats cheers.
  9. Got to say you could not class that tonight he was dirty. In the heat of the moment riders do say things in the heat of the moment if they have just been knocked of but after watching the replay Boyce would agree he just got drive at the wrong time and was rightly excluded but not dirty. Mind saying that he was a little careless to say the least in his third ride when to me he seamed to turn right slightly and should have been excluded without a doubt that was a little naughty.
  10. To me if a change were needed and Screen really did say he did not fancy it and I don't know why because if the track is the same as tonight it would suit Screen better than Havy. Havy's last few meetings for team GB have been poor so if it were me I would have gone for Louis with his experience and form of late could have done the job no problem as he is flying at the moment.
  11. This has got to have been one of the best ever live tv speedway meetings anyone who watched that for the first time should be hooked. If the final is half as good that will do me. Thank god the joker did not play a part that would have really spoilt the night. Mind there were some poor tactics from Neil Street.
  12. I want to know why a rider would get off his bike at that speed on purpose someone on here said it was like a footballer falling but they are not doing over 60mph on a bike with no brakes. Pedersen knew he was in the wrong after seeing all the replays on his tv why else did you think he tried to get his bike off the track to try and get some pride back after one of the biggest tanturums ive ever seen.
  13. Yes if its not broke and it was not doing to bad don't try and fix it. To me they only needed to stop the crazy doubleing up down rule the way it was. Then just enforce the rules they already have. This agm has turned the sport on its head so much so that the hard core fans are finding it very hard to accept going by all the posts all over the net.
  14. A step in the right derection maybe only half a step. If you want to bring this rule in you have got to have a squad system in place it can not be done by half.
  15. To me the way it must have came about was they had all read it the speedway starr the same as all of us that they were going to move heat eight up to heat five to stop the reserve and number two faceing a tac sub ride. But then some bright spark stood up and said "I know" we will just through out the tac sub rule then they all by now with servere heat stroke and dieing to get to the bar agreed what a great idea they all shouted. Wait until they wake up tomorrow with there hang overs and hopfully realise what they have done They have turned our sport on its head and its about time there was an independent comittie that ruled on the sport with no conections to any club.
