  1. Nice piccies, Mr Snackette. Wish I could be there but next year it looks like the Wee Hen will be with you and that Berwick supporter on a few trips. The Wee Hen
  2. I know you don't especially if there is a pub in the distance. But you do, when I take you shopping
  3. Well said, Mr Snackette. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Slany. No way we could have done all we did in that day alone, think we went to Jawa factory that day also and the meal was in a hotel restaurant. Looking forward already to next year. Enjoy Oz, any room for the Wee Hen ? And by the way, we want to see you in that posh suit next year, cufflinks, waistcoat and all
  4. Actually they are not. Eurorider do trips as well, and they are very good. Quite a bit cheaper than Travel Plus (difference is they travel by coach rather than plane although it is luxurious). I have been with TP and ER and both make you feel very welcome. When the meetings are finished and you are feeling a wee bit tired and maybe had one too many, getting on a coach is luxury. TP is expensive especially for my budget but I save up for speedway in the winter, no holidays on the never never for me. There is no way I would have seen speedway in Hungary or Croatia if it wasn't for them. Not sure which trips I am going on in the coming year but I am quite sure I shall be using both companies. I have been on trips myself and like Crazysue says, it is scary. I have been lost quite a few times.
  5. And even nicer people like iris123, of whom I would like to meet again
  6. The good thing about TP is that you can meet nice people on the trip like Two Minute Warning (that's a big smartie point for me )
  7. Eurorider are doing a trip to that GP, excellent company and an excellent hotel that they are staying in. See http://www.eurorider.co.uk/index_files/Page608.htm
  8. It was 4 years ago when I went but if I can remember it was no hassle. Train station was at airport and there were plenty to people to tell me where to go. Not too long on the train and it went to the centre of Copenhagen which is next door to Tivoli and a brilliant First Hotel.
  9. I would say Copenhagen because of Tivoli, Little Mermaid, Carlsberg Museum and also the fact the the stadium is a football one.
  10. Thanks, Ghostwalker. A great help to me
  11. Or able to speak the language? I need some translation of this, please.

    Paisley

Don't know the answer Kev, but did you know that on 14 May 75 there were 14873 spectators at Paisley Speedway, Festival of Paisley Trophy. 11873 spectators had free tickets. Double the amount of fans at Lakeside for Poole this year. And before you say about Lakeside being televised, so was Paisley's meeting
  13. Wrong, Bydgoszcz, Wroclaw, Sydney (Oops, you didn't go there ), must not forget the M4 advertises the park and ride for the Cardiff GP.
  14. I have now got to cancel the first two weekends in June for the hotel but at least my partner got the date right. £50 per night in the Big Sleep with breakfast
  15. Why can't the Poles ride like that over here? Just shows how good Nicki is, great on any track he rides on
  16. Thanks Steve, didn't realise others had done the same. Only watched it on a seven inch screen on Sunday and only looked at the forum today.
  17. Wait a minute. Where's my name? I picked Gollob and Nicholls and picked up alot of points
  18. Finally managed to book the German GP trip last week. Nearly had to sit by myself as See Tickets were saying 'can't book 2 tickets together in that section'. All together, hotel, ferry and tickets, £166 for two
  19. Not one of the best GPs to watch. In fact I haven't found one race to put on my best races from 2007 DVD. Well done to Nicki who proved he is the best whatever the conditions. A true World Champion.
  20. I have a note for Ole, sort out that swaying bridge over the pits. It was a bit scary with loads of people on it
  21. Yes, I can if you do it on a couple of pages or I lend your Grandad glasses
  22. How can it be, the teams are different ? If you're doing a programme for the meetings, can I have one? Big writing please
  23. What outdoor bathing? Will tell Kev to bring his trunks
  24. And he was supposed to give me a copy of the schedule. Oh well, I will just follow my nose What am I wanting to go to the Zwisch place, it's bad
