Thanks Grachan. I already knew that by looking at the Sky schedule but some forum member beginning with K, second name H didn't believe me and asked the question on here Now I have got to stay awake for longer with it being on so late
I am looking forward to this trip already
Fairy4ever, I am trying to ask the teacher if my daughter can go to Poland and have 2 days off. What shall I say? Should I mention speedway. As you are the chaperone I have left it to you
Are there anymore kids going? I am taking my 16 year old. Will be good for her to meet up with people of her own age rather than old fuddy duddies like us (well, that is what she thinks, I think, she'll be in for a shock )
I remember it well as though it was yesterday. Nearly not being allowed by my form teacher to get the Friday off. Travelling down by train, what hotel we stayed in etc. It was a hot day that day but I wouldn't take off my Tommy Knudsen sweatshirt because I had just had it made up. What a brilliant weekend
Really would have liked to have gone to this one. Looks a lovely stadium. Looked at Latvian sites and the writing is strange. What kind of writing is that? There is no way us Brits could try to say a word, never mind a sentence.
I am not sure but I think it reads they are at Pila on 17th and home to Daugavpils on the 24th on http://www.espeedway.pl/index.php?co=terminarz&liga=IILiga
You're right Addy. But I still wouldn't miss it for anything. Must be a good date for Scottish kids, they're on school hols then. Is John Postel-whatever Scottish?
Scott looked as though he was shoving all the way down the straight. Hans probably kept to the left to stay on. The referee should have got them both together and told them to cut it out. The track was too wet and dangerous for that kind of nonsense.
I was going to ask that question but found the answer
Will probably go to Leszno or Wroclaw. How long will it take by car as we're most probably going to hire one for the weekend?
And as I am Scottish, what's the petrol prices like in Poland?
