Not alot of dirt, entertainment not very good, riders just came out on their bikes for parade just like a normal meeting and David Howe didn't get alot of attention in the build up. Forget about the ending, and every other GP in Cardiff just about would have been better.

I was surprised by this thread, thought someone must have been taking the mick. Certainly the first half of the meeting wasn't up to much and if it hadn't been for Bomber, the meeting would have been rubbish. Second half was much better and I think the result must be making everyone think it was the best. It was definately a result to remember and probably the race of the season. Well done, Bomber

I have been to California today, not the one in Scotland or USA but in Berkshire. Came back with muddy jeans and shoes. Couldn't find the track although we were told it was hard to spot by someone in the cafe. Will try again in the summer when its less wet, if it gets dry there

Chris P After the meeting most people split up and go back to their hotel bars. The forum meet normally happens in the Prince of Wales before the meeting when most people are sober or half cut. I did got in the POW after the meeting last year, the floor was very sticky where some of the forum members must have spilt their drinks, but as a Scotswoman it wouldn't have been me
