Look you two, it's no good I'm going to have to step in here!21st CH....Joanne is a happily married mother of two teenagers who are not Speedway fans and neither is her husband. Joanne...he sounds a great guy. I mean anyone who goes to Wolverhampton every week just to support the visiting team has got to be okay. She's going on her own, you're reluctant to go on your own so can't the two of you get together (in the nicest possible way) just for this meeting? I've met Joanne several times and she is very nice and definitely won't bite. I just think she has got tremendous guts going to these meetings on her own, although Pawprint is always available of course if she wants to do a spot of smuggling again. Thanks for putting up for me Gemini but it looks like 21st CH has ran off. My boss called me a 'little Jack Russell' the other day so maybe I will bite ;-) By the way Gemini, Rebecca isn't 13 yet although she might as well be (she is bigger than me ). Pawprint is very welcome to come with me Also I've just had an order form for tickets for the Prague GP. For anyone who is interested I will email them a copy if they want one.

All the tickets have SOLD OUT (Well, the VIP Club ones anyway)

Thanks Discoll. I'll have a good look at that before I go so I know where the best places are. 21st Century Heathen It's not really nice going on your own but you get used to it. You can even talk to yourself if you want to But I'd rather be there than sitting in the living room getting nagged at about the race to the first corner. And you see all the race instead of just the leader which they do on the TV. You can also shout your head off at the speedway as the person next to you don't know you. Its the start of the season. I'm sure by September you will get to know some forum members and there seems to be loads going. What tracks do you go to normally? The nearest track to your area of country that I go to is Coventry. Go for it, 21st Century Heathen. If all else fails you can always come and talk to me

Sorry about that 21st Century Heathen. Sometimes people let you down. I'm going on my own and I can do what I want with no kids nagging at me. Can't imagine them going around museums etc. Have you thought about going alone?
-
You've upset me now, 21st Century Heathen :-( . You could have been my guide.

Got got my accommodation confirmation for Prague Staying in that square that is not really a square :?:
-
Tak Hanne.(Hope thats right) . Have already received my ticket but will need to know some basic sentences. Are you going? Glad you're sorted Doc
-
Did you go to Hradcanska and then get on the 18? Is it just a long street then if it isn't a square? Ah, well I suppose it's just a different place for me to get lost. I got well lost in Sydney (a few times ), even got lost coming back from Rye House the other night when I tried to be smart :-(

Thanks. Might be getting closer to finding a hotel. There's a bit more choice than Cardiff. Looks like I've found one on Wenseles Square. This must be near where you are talking about. Might be able to follow red and white painted faces from there. I'm confused, I thought it was tram line 18 to the track.
-
Anywhere in the city centre will do to be honest. You can get a taxi from the airport and there are tram/metro stops all over the place. I think tram number 22 was the one that goes to the track. Thanks. Do you mean Prague 1?
-
I have decided not to wait for the hostel I was looking at as they weren't taking bookings until June. Don't want to wait until then when 1 Polish supporter could come along and book the whole hostel Can anyone recommend anywhere easy enough for me to get to from the airport and to the track. Somewhere near a tram or metro stop would be handy.

There's transport from the airport into the centre of Prague, Acef. If you are on the early morning flight (Sat) from Stansted, you'll be on the same flight as me. So we can both get lost (if you know what I mean)
-
Easyjet do fly there Acef. Because I'm flying with them. You're not spelling Prague wrong, are you :?: Just had a look at the Easyjet site and theres definately flights left(well from Stansted, there is).
-
You'll probably enjoy it more with Billy not being there. You won't be concentrating on the one rider doing well. And lots of others are going from the forum so it should be a big forum get together plus the fact that you'll see some historic sights in the city (if you want). Go for it Jo

My GP ticket arrived in the post today. Not bad after only ordering the ticket 9.30am on Tuesday. Hope everyone else is sorted out now

I've had success also Nick, but not that way. Had an email this morning saying there was no record of my transaction. Tried again (seen that 3 digit thing that you were talking about but didn't think it mattered and didn't really understand it anyway) Emailed Jeppe Jensen again, still no luck. So he said I could phone him or he could phone me. Being Scottish I let him phone me. He told me alot of English people are having problems and they are investigating it. He said if any of my friends are having problems phone him on 45 70 263 267 or email him on jeppe@e-billetter.dk with your phone no and he'll phone you back. So I'm sorted now. Just had my Copenhagen and Prague travel books through the post so I won't get lost

I ordered my ticket on Tuesday 4 February or at least I thought I did. I gave my card number etc and thought everything would be in English until that message came up at the end. I probably should send them an email now. It didn't even tell me where I would be sitting in A3, that's where I wanted to sit. Don't really want to order another ticket.

Jo I'm flying with Easy Jet (Stansted) from very very early Sat to Monday evening price £55. Just had a look. The cheapest price is £70 Fri-Tues. You just click on the circle for when you want to go/come back and it works it all out for you. This doesn't mean you are booking the flight. Good Luck from the other Jo

This is really sad news indeed. Unfortunately I never got to watch Ken ride but have heard alot of good things about him. RIP Ken

Thanks for that Shalewhale. But I've already done that but not got the t-shirt yet. Just waiting to see if I've done it properly yet. The message at the very end was in Danish!!

I would bet on Greg Hancock but I'm not really a betting person but if he wins I am going to kick myself again :-( I remember sitting in the Millennium stadium last year thinking I should have put money on Ryan winning (this was before heat 1) and look what happened -

Small print reads . . . . Please bring own food ! Please bring pilots licence ! No seriously, have used them 6 times, and thus far OK ! Don't forget your flask. I paid £2.50 for a coffee for a £29 return flight to Ancona. No problems with airline. -
