Dawn G, Are there any spaces left on the flights from Glasgow? I might have another go at trying to get my parents to go the GP.
-
You told me she almost knocked you over Jo Yes, she did, I forgot to put that one in. I was looking for the 'Powder Room' after having a pint in the other pub (mentioned before) when Addict came tearing down the stairs. So I was not on the lookout for forum members. It was nice to see Addict though, as always Yes, folks have a lot to look forward to, Addict. Hope we are a bit more successful in meeting other forum members this year By the way Gemini, Colin Pratt had a smile on his face
-
I remember last year. We were supposed to meet in a certain pub at 2pm I think and the Wetherspoons later on. The first pub (I can't remember the name) had no-one there I could recognise except Colin Pratt. And the Wetherspoons pub was mobbed. Couldn't see anyone until Addict came running down the stairs to greet me. A couple of us stood outside looking around for other forum members, not knowing that some were inside hidden amongt the hundreds of speedway fans inside. But I suppose I'll do it again this year

Did you make these figures up Jo or are these right :?: (purely out of interest) Might have but as Lioness says, it seems more with Pammie about. She can make more noise that 35,000 Aussies
-
Have a look at www.lastminute.com They are doing a two for one offer on Cardiff GP tickets
-
Sadly Joanne in my opinion there are non up to the required standard at the moment :-( I know they are not up to the required standard, Lioness, but who knows what they will do on the day in front of 20,000 cheering Scots, 10,000 Welsh and 13,000 English fans.

What about a Scottish and a Welsh rider :?:

SGP of Europe - Chorzow Poland 17th May
Joanne replied to Papa Bazarou's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yes I agree. It is absolutely dreadful how these ambiguous comments are interpreted in different ways :? Joanne is a sport , good on you Jo She is most likely jumping up and down laughing in an excited manner at this very moment ... Yes, I did find this very funny except I have only just read it just now. The other half was on the computer last night. Don't worry Gemini, I won't jump up and down at Cardiff as there is not enough leg room -
Just received my voucher for the Prague GP. I'm in Section A.

Not long now until the first GP. My hubby is going to a wedding that day so hopefully he won't be back until after 10pm so I can jump up and down in an excited manner for 3 hours or so. Really excited about Scott Nicholls and Nicki Pedersen. Tony Rickardsson had better watch out. He has some competition this year. -
My University HATES ME!
Joanne replied to wolfman's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Is there anyway you can find someone who is travelling pretty late to the GP? I imagine the exam is in the morning. I'm sure someone will help you out. I wouldn't miss the GP for almost anything. -
That's lucky. I think that was the first one I tried. Anyway, I am staying at the Travel Inn, Cardiff Bay. I think a few other forum members will be there also.
-
And I'm with Lioness and Kev. Stonehewer has past his 'sell by date' for the GPs, that is. Any room for me in the bunker? I am only little
-
Thanks for reminding me Jotrez Just written out my leave request forms for Cardiff and Copenhagen
-
It takes about 2 hours by car from Newport to Cardiff. Well it did for me last year. And if it wasn't for my son I'd be still driving round and round today looking for the river :x

Hi Falcace Glad you have got your flights sorted. Here is the website that I used to book my accommodation www.athos.cz/page/accomod.php3?lang=en A very helpful website
-
My tickets have arrived Thanks False Dawn
-
Matty, it was lovely to meet you last night. Would love to have a coffee/caffe latte/smoothie/czech beer with you and your family in Prague. We'll sort in out nearer the time. Looking forward to it already
-
Who's Shirley, Joanne are you trying to get me into trouble. :?: ;-) Sorry, Discoll, I'm terrible with names. It's Sandra. Looks like I'm having a bad week this week :-(
-
Don't worry Gemini. I realise now how difficult it will be as all Coventry male supporters are handsome
-
A,B, or C Discoll. Thanks for the offer Discoll and Matty Wigs. Now what do I do, Gemini :?: Hang around with Matty Wigs and Co or meet up with Discoll and Shirley or even 21st Century Heathen. HELP :!: It's really nice that everyone is so friendly on this forum. I'm just going for the two nights Matty. Will arrive in Prague before 10am on the Saturday and leave on the Monday night. You'll have to introduce me to Matty, Gemini, maybe if I go to Brandon on Saturday.
-
I have did it wrong again, Discoll Glad you got the form OK. Haven't filled in the form myself yet, still deciding what area to sit in. What's the stadium like? 21st CH If you decide to go to Prague, you know where I am and you are quite welcome to be my guide for the day
-
He laughed his head off and said "I have did nothing ".
-
I'll let you off because it was late and you must have been tired. My grammar is wrong, isn't it Gemini? I asked the other half last night if it should be "I've done" and he said it should be "I have did". I knew at the time that it didn't sound right. I think he was having me on because he is very good at English. He is home for lunch in a minute. I wonder what I should put in his sandwich/coffee

Nothing changes Discoll, it seems I'm always in trouble. I have did that job for you Discoll. Hopefully I have did it right, let me know if you don't receive it by 10pm 11 Mar 03.
