  1. It's more than 50km - the Polish trains are slow, but not THAT slow. Well worth a day trip Chivs though, lovely place. Otherwise you'll find out how quiet Bydgoszcz is on a Sunday. Rico
  2. Thanks for the info Mr Andrey (and good luck for next weekend - hope it all goes well) - that wasn't listed in the fixtures posted previously. A couple of hours on the train from Bydgoszcz, for those staying on in Bydgoszcz to the Monday. And I'd concur with the assesment it's a great city. Might make a nice day out, with some speedway thrown in. Rico
  3. Poznan might suit you guys - not sure of the start time there, but it's not too long a journey from Bydgoszcz and it has brilliant connections back to Warsaw (some of the trains are from Berlin). It might look odd as you are going away from Warsaw by going to Poznan, but the train journey from Poznan back to Warsaw is a lot quicker than going direct from Bydgoszcz. Check the Polrail site for times. Rico
  4. We had started discussing the young lad here but he probably is worthy of his own topic. Some basic info on him can be found on the BTZ Polonia site. Definitely one to watch already, let alone the future. Rico
  5. Thanks for the results Subedei. This makes his peformance even more impressive. According to the BTZ official site Sajfutdinov was born on 26 Oct 1989, which by my calculations makes him still only 16 years old. I've seen the lad on DVD a few times and he can go a bit. Ok, the opposition yesterday were pretty crap, but this lad clearly is a bit special. I'm sure it was Mateusz that told me that Sajfutdinov was recommended to the club by AJ, who had seen him ride in the Russian League. Frightening to think if the current rules stay in place this lad is eligible for a reserve berth for the next 4 years. Will the Poles allow a foreign youngster to be protected for such a long time ? Rico
  6. Mateusz You said he got beaten by Sajfutdinov - does this mean we have a future GP star at reserve for Polonia Bydgoszcz ? Rico
  7. Joester, Try going to www.britishspeedwaysliders.com. There is lots of info on the website as well as a forum where you can throw in questions in the support section. Hopefully this particular topic will get locked at some point and people will start using the new site. Rico
  8. Shanovski isn't a million miles away. Brits would find it difficult to pronounce the first 4 letters (Chrz) which are two separate sounds. Rolling them into a 'sh' isn't too bad a substitute. As for Miedzinski phonetecially I'd suggest mye-jinski. Hope that comes across ok Grachan. Rico
  9. Craig, If you came back in last night you'd have found us ignoring Lublin as it didn't work - I think I had extracted it into the wrong place. Rico
  10. Shame you couldn't make it in PF - it was good action on track. I noticed on my hamachi that you appeared to have an amber/yellow light next to your name, whereas anyone else online had green. Don't know where the technical difficulties lie tbh. Rico
  11. I've evicted some peeps from the network who aint online so there should be space to get in. Seems to be a max of 10. On V2. Rico
  12. My hamachi server is up and running. Playing British v1 to start with. network name - ricos password - rico Rico

  14. Any late nighters ? I'm happy to serve on BritishSTS on hamachi or if anyone else has one going let me know where. Rico
  15. I'll open up on hamachi - Having to use a different network as no-one else can join the britishsts one at the moment network name - ricos password - rico Using Polish tracks on v1. Just punch in my ip on hamachi and off we go. Rico
  16. Anyone welcome on my hamachi networked game - ip 5.59.230.254 Rico
  17. Can someone try connecting to 5.59.230.54 and let me know if it works. On v1.0.5, NOT the new demo. Trying to use set-up recommended by mQQa. Rico
  18. All ticket info on official BTZ Polonia website here. Rico
  19. PedroPete, Just e-mail the club and ask to reserve however many tickets you want then pick them up either at practice or on race-day. They usually have to be collected before 5pm on raceday. Rico
  20. Next time I get on a server I am going to type /who and take a note of the IP Address shown there - I guess that's the one I want. Rico
  21. Try putting Ostrów Wielkopolski in Hazzman. Times vary but I think it was about 4 hours. Rico
