  1. Glasgow easy win, as reserves are key and i can t see ncstle's scoring anywhere near enough to keep it close , hope im proved wrong but cant see it!
  2. great result for n'cstle imo , out of interest do Berwick still not allow the visiting riders a warm up lap after the pre meeting presentation?
  3. Rose should me first name on the team sheet for 2017 imo low average and potential heatleader imo
  4. poor performance by most of the diamonds except morris, even our top 4 looked under par. good guests for tigers and poor one for ncstle, track was poor with no water, dusty and little passing, and ncstle were poor out of the gate in most races, few points of note - robson for lambert - poor choice you cant replace a a 9 pointer with a 6/7 pointer this has happened a few times away also where kerr and bates guested to replace worrall and lambert , before i get told lack of guests etc, why arrange match on certain dates where this is the case, cutoff deadline a joke by the bspa - there should be some flexibility allowed when this happens , why not extend it by 2 weeks?? did George think robo would be ok to guest a we would cover his lack of points - big mistake why didnt we water the track and rip it up mid meeting to try and knock sheffield out of their stride?? its a shame as losing by just 6 points away we done the hard work and the 2nd leg should have been a formality if we managed the guest situation better imo.
  5. shocking choice of guests by ipswich imo - robbed the public big style!
  6. strange choice of guest replacing a 9 point man with a 5 regardless of his track knowledge imo
  7. sad that some supporters have that outlook - you missed a good nights racing regardless of who was missing and it was a good night of speedway
  8. i still dont see how sitting in the car park (not driving) can add up hours ? also how come we replace worrall with a 6 point rider in josh bates ?? surely there must be someone with a similar average to worrall available ?
  9. How can the coach drivers run out when he has probably sat in the car park half asleep from 6pm - 9.45 pm strange
  10. good win for the diamonds nut nearly threw it away, cant believe the track never got watered and very little grading leaving the inside third like a dusty motorway, making racing close but difficult to pass imo
  11. fisher for lambert and sissis for rose are probably not going to give us the win but i hope im proved wrong
  12. grammar ?? who do you think you are a school teacher??
  13. major blow richie going to glasgow, whos left that will fit - dont fancy kus what about rene bach who has close links with alan hedley or howarth??
  14. robos strenghth is in the pits just as much as on the track
  15. if youre happy with those two riders you must be deluded regardless of the number game
  16. i cant believe lindgren has been signed after last year, whos next pk, another whos well past his best
  17. great signimg in lambert richie w next please m kus - no way too inconsistant
  18. another joke of a performance by ncstle which shows how inept we are glad i stayed at home !!
  19. i think jonas b anderson would in hindsight been worth a go before he signed for redcar, for me the management was relyimg on riders to increase there average to be successfull, but when to drop a rider is difficult imo . i remember mark thoprpe years ago was a 5 point man and didnt progress , the fans were gutted when he re-signed but he changed to gm engines and doubled his average overnight, then theres the opposite with malcolm hogg who was out of his depth but rode for most of the season , this proves how difficult it is as a promoter to guess right, i think m lemon ws released at the right time as you could see he was goung down hill, but j grieves was released and shouldnt have been - but there must be lots going on behind the scenes that we are aware of, 2 more examples. Maybe more groupon deals might help in the short term, who would be a promoter not me !
  20. I read the managements comments about budgets so wasnt expecting a top line rider at no.1 so without sounding to negative heres my prediction for the 2015 season - l kerr - could turn into a 9 pointer or could stay on 7 ish ( a lot of riders get to 7 and cant move on to be a 9 pointer) unsure? c henry - solid middle order man but cant see him improving his average l lindgren - an enigma great value to watch but dont think he will increase his average, has been a 7 pointer for a while now, very frustrating rider who needs a dickie juul person in the pits to help him with setups etc a rosen - same as kerr who knows could go either way s worrall - on a false average imo due to reserve rides so unlikely to kick on may even drop slightly ( both the worralls are on false averages but in the opposite way) l rose - could be a big year for him could be a 7 pointer imo s nielsen - not sure, doesnt seem to have the potential of other reserves like nathan greaves imo to summarise i not sure about ludvig as captain but cant really see anyone else other than kerr possibly i think we will miss robo massively especially in the pits but all in all we should win most of our home meetings but i feel we will lose most away and finish mid table-ish having said all that i would love to be proved wrong on most of my comments - any thoughts?
  21. ok team if you swap steve w for richie and change henry for a n other imo
  22. are the number ones doing match races or all four together in a race - hope its the latter as match races are boring imo
  23. newcastle- poor season will be lucky to make the playoffs, mainly because the change with kingy coming in didnt work as the lambert move was blocked, both riders had to be signed or none imo, we were probably stronger with the starting lineup than the current one. robo - good solid season , but not the no.1 he was, good 2nd /3rd heatleader , massive influence on helping others in the pits - keep kingy - good signing but not on that average, not as dominant as most thought he would be, but solid 8 pointer - keep ludvig - mega inconsistant world beater one minute terrible the next, he needs a dickie juul in the pits to help him with bike setup imo, - gone lewi kerr - poor start of season but good 3rd heatleader one for the future - keep lewi rose - great potential, rider for the future - must keep millsy - great reserve guaranteed to score points and occasionally big points at home - keep nielsen - lots of potential for future - keep henry - solid mid order man was unlucky to go, would have him back next year rosen - lots of potential would be a no1 in a couple of years if given the time to learn the tracks etc , shame it didnt happen, would have him back next year but as a 2nd / 3rd heatleader not a no.1
