I've been told Dan has a possible broken left leg and possible broken right arm. He was apparently conscious throughout until given drugs by Doctor to move him from the track into the Ambulance. Hope he heals fast and well. That was an big crash that.

Not looking good trying to find a guest at this late stage

I have hardly missed a meeting since they reformed in 2000. But after the fixture gaps the last two seasons being bad enough this year has made me actually loose the love of speedway. Three home meetings we have had in two month and now another three weeks to wait. I'm just about giving up on the sport now.

I fear Workington will not get through this season. A great start to the season a couple of away wins team looking good now smashed because riders are not getting paint and their performances have reflected this especially Klindt. No home meetings for weeks due to different reasons and not one would have been rained off if they had ran.

I feel for the new riders. Dan, Kyle, Mason and Ty will all improve there averages this season without a doubt in my opinion. Trouble is Klindt Rene and Rasmus won't keep their starting average all three are poor signings. I doubt there was much else available but to start by getting Dan and Kyle and getting Mason at reserve looked so promising but that has been ruined by signing riders who have no improvement in them after trying for years at this level. Not liking the reports of Klint being just a gater or does nothing. As a promotion that's the last type of rider you want in your team. Rene beats himself by complaining of everything bar himself.

Whose the last two then ? i would love one to be Jorgensen because I truly believe he would improve his average by 2 points next season. He did have poor meetings but he gave 100% effort every heat. just read Klints piece in the Speedway star saying the rider if signed will be number 1 and he has joked that he will have the number 1 race jacket within a month so obviously the rider has a higher average the 7.51.

Mason will do ok. He just needs consistency Klint is another story he will never achieve that average. Never. Very poor signing I know there are not that many riders available but that's a shocker on that average.

Can we let the ticket debate drop now and look forward to 2018 It's like a broken record player on here

The trouble I see in the Comets team building is you generally start from your number one. We have lost our number one for 2018 and there and not that many number ones about especially when some teams sign two !! Matt has that average where you probably want to include him in your team but until you get other riders sorted his sort of average would be the final piece of the jigsaw. The team I named did not include Matt simply because of the other riders I picked. The last rider was a choice between Matt and Mason and I went for Mason who would have been at reserve. I k ow its only a team I picked but I went for depth as not any big hitters available Barker Sedgeman Jorgensen Bewley Proctor Campton Bickley Who would you swap in a team line up similar to that for Matt ? We all have our own opinions and its a tough one.

Whats the problem with the rugby club. Also Thomas Jorgensen has the potential to raise his average more than any other ream member of 2017 team. I thought he just had bad luck last season but his effort you could not fault

What points are they awarding for a race win is it 3 for 1st 2 for 2nd etc etc, or 4 for 1st 3 for 2nd etc etc
