  1. I agree and everthing Paul.......but could you possibly have it any bigger?
  2. Well, if the Poles have a few engine failures and tape exclusions....... GB should be pushing for 2nd. If they can get 1st, awesome, if not, 2nd will be a good result IMO. Poland are on their home track and Sweden are full of excellent riders. We've already beat the Danes so we shoule be pretty confident about them.
  3. Ahem! I hope you do realise I would defend Loram if everyone was giving him a hard time. Who knows, I might even stick up for Screeny!
  4. Mine's changed(It was yesterday but I didn't see this thread ) UP THE BRITS!!!!!
  5. Ooh, you mean on my space then? Lol, should have known it was something along those lines. Hehe
  6. Come on Poland? Are you joking or a traitor? But I do agree the race suits and bikes looked very nice
  7. Not sure yet, don't think the Poles can miss out, they're good as it is but on a track in Poland must make it easier. I think the Aussies could go through, but the Danes might be pretty strong too. You never know though, the Czechs might get something done, well more than Sunday anyway. Don't really know at this stage but if I had to pick I'd say the Poles and the Danes
  8. Yeah, I think we need reserves. Where would we have ended up if Bomber hadn't got up of his crash at Swindon ok and had to pull out? If we had someone else there, Havelock maybe? Anyway, if we had a reserve at least we won't be worrying about injuries!
  9. Might be Shazzybird.....perhaps someone could confirm, but I'm sure I heard someone say he's been feeling a bit under the weather all week Might be nerves though, if he's been feeling ill all week it's weird the day be fore the big night he's sick. But still, I don't think he faked anything, but nerves is a possibility!
  10. I know none of the desicions were really biased, but why on earth was there a Polish ref? Why? We had to make do with some foreigner on Sunday so why do the Poles get special treatment(hope I'm not offending anyone )?
  11. Might be a confidence thing, he knows if he doesn't score in the World Cup, he has team mates out there scoring too. In the GP, well, he knows he's on his own. Lol, how do you know my nickname is Fudge?
  12. Can't remember who it was now.....not one of your little "gang" who dislike Lee, but someone did I'll find out, lol, and now at least we know you're supporting GB and not the enemy......Nicki and co in other words
  13. Well said Spin King. Oh right, so accusing him of faking an illness isn't slagging off? Can't remember who said it but someone did, and it's all rubbish! So what if you don't like him? No need to start a club, you're all just making yourselves look stupid. There's some lovely Danes going to be racing in the race off on Thursday....if you can't support our lads then you can go support them. By the way, if you go to Sports World you can get a great big Danish flag.....pretty cheap as well.
  14. I don't like Nicki P at all, like a lot of Brits here! There's a big difference between Nicki and Lee ya know.....Lee doesn't deserve to be slagged off. In fact, I'd be quite happy to tell Nicki exactly what I thought of him! Why are you getting on at Lee? What exactly has he done that is so bad? He's just gone out and represented the country for god's sake, give the guy a bit of credit. Well, unless you lot would like to replace Lee on Saturday, I'm sure we could get that arranged?
  15. Yep, it's a similar situation to last night. A lot of people I know thought, if GB don't go straight through and end up in the race off, the lads might as well stay at home. The Poles need to win, or they have no chance. If they go into the race off, they've got Denmark, probably Sweden or Australia, and it's going to be much more competitive!
  16. I meant Denmark not Poland, lol, typed it a bit too quickly without really thinking.....will edit it now
  17. I'm thinking Sweden will take it easily.....their team is full of riders who could, and in some cases have, won the GP. They can be amazing. Australia to come close 2nd, Poland 3rd. Germany will probably be poor, but let's not write them off yet! Denmark and Australia winning the race off. So basically I think the final will be GB Denmark(not Poland, lol!) Australia Sweden Looking forward to seeing tomorrows action....probably more exciting than last night's! Well, that's unless Floppy is doing his commentary again Edit- typed Poland instead of Denmark
  18. I like Lee, he's one of my favourite riders, he always gives 100% even if it doesn't always show. Last night proved his racing can be brilliant, still don't know why he can't do that in a GP, but hey, it happens! If Lee was physically sick at Eastbourne, why was it an excuse in case GB didn't go through? He wouldn't make himself sick, if he didn't do well, he'd just take it and get on with his life! It's not a crime to lose something, we all want to win but unfortunately we don't always get our own way. We don't win the football world cup, but Becks doesn't start being sick as an excuse! I think everyone who is even suggesting Lee would even try and pull something like that is just pathetic. I think he does enjoy riding, if he was scared we wouldn't win or worried that he'd do rubbish, wouldn't he have just told Middlo no? I think you need to grow up and get behind every rider that is doing something for our country.
  19. Well as I'm not Nicki or Stekkers I have no idea....but it was one of 3 things. A mistake by Pedersen, a tactical move or a mechanical problem. I'd like to say the 1st one, but I don't think I'll ever know for sure. Another thing I'd point out.....I saw a huge group of Union Jacks and Engalnd flags, and guess what I saw, right in the middle of it? Yep, a Danish flag. Just had to laugh at it, wonder if the owner was actually Danish or a British traitor, like a friend of mine who I won't name
  20. EXCELLENT! Well done Team GB.....all the guys have done us proud! First of all.....Lee Richardson. WOW! Well done Lee! Riding with a stomach bug was one thing.....but a 15 point maximum is just brilliant. His ride with Nicki when he passed him on the last bend was a good race, Lee put pressure on the Dane all the way through. But I still think it might have been a tactical move so Stekkers could bring in the Joker on one of his guys. Even still, anyone who can beat that Pedersen is a hero of mine Well done Lee, you've done yourself and the whole of GB proud! Simon Stead and Chris Harris were amazing. To go out like that and race against the big boys is incredible......an inspiration to many! After Dryml put Harris in the fence I expected a Brit-less race, but Bomber got up, borrowed a bike and got on with it. Steady was just fantastic, and it would be stupid to leave these 2 out of Saturday's final! Scott Nicholls and Joe Screen were also great. Scott was acting like a proper captain, greeting every rider after the race, congratulating them and making sure they're alright. A true captain's performance. After his first ride I totally lost faith in Screeny, thought he would be like that all through the night, but this guy proved me wrong! He was a credit to the team, picking up some vital points for us. Not only the riders kept us entertained, but Floppy was providing some quality commentary, him and Nigel kept us laughing all night. When he said the Danes could bring it on and he'd gladly have a fight with Nicki Pedersen if Nigel wanted him to had me in stitches. Would have preferred him out there in the GB colours, but if he can't this is the next best thing. Wonder if he'll do it regular when he retires? Well done Team GB, you've done everyone proud!
  21. Rico and Scotty are our GP guys, they're the best in the team IMO. We need both of them 100% fit if we want to get anywhere near beating the Danes. You've gotta admit, they look excellent, with Nicki P, Bjarne and Hans currently doing excellent. All the best to Lee and we can only hope he's ok for tomorrow
  22. He was only feeling ill, so I'd think so, unless its anything really serious
  23. Kauko's one of the favourites to qualify aswell Good luck Kake!
