Bears v Poole Sunday 14th Sept.
Paddy The Rebel replied to Coraldon's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Absolute joke 3weeks time,Poole manage to re arrange for the next week and Redcar can’t be bothered and go 3 weeks later pathetic !!! -
Poole have kept up with all there fixtures, completed all league matches played the 1st leg of both of there semi finals because there waiting for all other teams to complete there fixtures,I guess Poole are going to have to wait yet again for Redcar to get a date for 2nd leg of play off as they are miles behind in sorting g fixtures out knowing other clubs Poole will prob have to wait weeks for other teams and go into the play offs cold.

Think everyone seems to have missed this if Morris guests for me that like for like atleast Morris at no2 in the championship is going to get plenty of points. think Poole will go through overall. Lawson is unbelievable at this level this year hardly dropping points at all,we definitely needed that from Zach Cook last night and about time he knocked in a double figure score I feel like atm he is our 2nd heatleader with the way Rowe is and as for Kerr we all knew this would happen you just know in these big meetings something like this would happen cost us a top place in the BSN group with issues at Plymouth and Oxford, you could see in the pits Neil was fuming just before Kerr’s 2nd ride still not having his bike ready, there’s no way he’s at Poole next year. Thomsen,Cairns and Starke were all brilliant and that covered for the heatleaders a big team performance last night. -

Agreed top 5 will have to be on there game the biggest test yet at home,I feel we will need to hit 50 to have a good chance of going through. -
Prediction of 2025 Championship league
Paddy The Rebel replied to Bitza's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think that’s a pretty fair reflection on things,I feel Oxford are under rated got easily the strongest reserves in the league but also a decent no1 and riders who can all score well in the top 5 they will defo be a threat,if Glasgow can get Hodder scoring points then there the biggest threat to my team Poole imo,Nagel looks a class act at this level very good signing from Glasgow. -
Not saying that at all but surely at somepoint soon he’s either gotta become a 8-9pt man and challenges Lawson at the top end or he’s gotta leave to become that rider so he then gets European spots.
-
It’s very rare you will see Zach trying to round the outside line and pass.
-
100% agree with that statement it’s time for a change in that area both Kerr and Cook will never be more than 7.00 riders, plus cook has been in the no4 position for years now and never really threatened the number 5 position in that time,he’s been with Poole for 4 seasons now something’s gotta give at some point.

Sheffield v Leicester - BSN 24/07/2025
Paddy The Rebel replied to 40-38's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kerr 5.62 and Sedgmen 4.44 so a total of 10.06 to play with assuming that’s the 2 who go the averages are that from 1st August. think Sheffield need to do something to get them challenging for the title very inconsistent in the no4 and 6 berth, imo they need some form of heatleader and then a 3.00 rider as flint or Rowe at reserve would take there ride. Potentially Morris could be an option as would fit the bill as a no4 id say, think his average would be around 6.5 -
Berwick have space in place of Dayle Wood, Plymouth could replace trigger but can’t see that so space very limited, would be Ashame as he defo deserves a space.
-
I would pretty much agree with all of that,Kerr went backwards as night went on,Zach had one of his best meetings and actually rode like a heatleader. As for the Rocketman well again dominant a pleasure to watch. think it’s going to be tough vs Glasgow next week as Anders doesn’t look 100%,and Cairns 1st meeting I’d take a 46-44 now.

Wow your sensitive, just stating the situation. on another note I think if we come out of tonight with a 4-6pt defeat we’ve done well. -

What’s your weak reserves got to do with RR being at 3 instead of 2. -
No thanks rather Anders every day of the week
-
I’m guessing Lawson,Rowe,Cairns,Rushen and maybe Beau Bailey please not Kerr and Starke.
-
Well we made hard work of that tonight we look nowhere near a title winning team at the moment,Zachs idea moving to 5 well that’s gone about as bad as it could have another shocking meeting in general,Kerr lacked speed all night and to get 5-1d by Thompson and Trigger at home is pretty embarrassing and a real worry. I think it can’t get more obvious than tonight that Rowe needs to be put to 5 asap it just feels like positions 3,4,5 are a mess at the moment Kerr 3,Zach 4,Rowe 5. As for Rowe another masterclass showing why he will be one of the top average riders in this league and Lawson again solid as ever, special mention to Darryl Ritchings who was the match winner for me and should of been rider of the night, and I think the management are going to have a decision to make soon wether cairns comes in for Starke or Ritchings.
-
Agreed they seem to be juggling the line up for no reason at all it’s obvious to everyone who hasn’t got rose tinted glasses on,it’s getting on my nerves a little now just put Rowe at 5 and be done with it ,give the team better balance he’s the only rider other than Lawson that could ride at 5 home and away no problem in this team.
