Most teams sign up a partner team in another division so riders that are on the verge between leagues can either double-up to gain experience in a higher league or double-down to get confidence in a lower league, just like Danny Bird of Reading/Ipswich and Simon Stead of Workington/Wolverhampton to mention a few. Riders must have a converted Elitserien average of 5.00 or lower to be able to double-up or double-down.
