belle vue v kings lynn 13/9/21

Can you send me the link please? -
Same circumstance with the same rider but a different outcome and the only reason being he was an Ace back then. https://speedwaygp.com/news/article/6177/cook-forced-out-of-cup

I would have said signing a rider knowing he won’t turn out for you and getting facility wouldn’t be allowed, but then I remembered Nicoli Klindt. The other ray of light is rules could be set, re-written, then re-written again all within the space of a few weeks. The final re-write may benefit you? The final ray of light is they could just set a rule but make an exception for Peterborough as they have done with the tyres. As an aside does anyone know how we are doing attracting more fans and big ticket sponsors?

Kings Lynn Stars v Sheffield Tigers 19/08/21

In this instance I’m glad it was just another childish rant from Buster with no substance to it. Looking forward to my visits with the Aces in the seasons to come. -
I would imagine he’ll take over hear and double his profits. No brainer given the success of IOW.

The problem is these new fans become regulars who read the programme, the Star and forums such as this. They learn about the constant rule breaking or reinterpretation of the rules. They visit a track, wait in the rain for an hour and then get told it’s off, etc, etc, etc. UK speedway hasn’t just lost fans, it’s actively driven them away.

I thought Buster has already said he won’t be running this fixture. The man of his word said in his statement that “ next meeting will be my last”. The next meeting is against Wolves then that’s it. Does it mean he’ll have a buyer in place to re run the Sheffield fixture? If anyone knows, you guys will. -
That makes sense now. Anders is both a rising star and a 1-6 team member with and average. Many thanks for clearing it up, I knew you’d know.
-
Does that mean at that point he ceased to be a rising star and was just treated as a regular 1-6 team member ?
-
If he is a rising star why does his average have the +5% that is used when booking a guest at home? The rules say rising stars can only be replaced by another rising star so this calculation isn’t applicable.
-
Please see my previous post. Are you saying he shouldn’t have replaced Bates?

Which begs the question why the Isle of Wight left the league after going through this democratic process. Odd. Does anyone know why Kemp doesn’t have an average?
-
You said those stats give some indication of current form. I said Aces wanted to see the current (2021) Crump ride in a meeting that in less than 90 minutes I can describe as currently happening. GP organisers, when picking series wildcards, bookies, fans and team managers booking guests all look at current form when making their decisions. You’re entitled to your opinion that it’s nonsense but I’ll have to disagree with you, currently. Anyway, I’m not trying to look clever as there is so much I don’t know and you can help me there. Why doesn’t Kemp have an average?
-
We wanted to see the 2021 Crump ride with his 6.09 average but instead we have maximum man Masters on his 8.00 average.

Aces fans absolutely do not want to see a half fit Crump limping round, we love him, he’s an Ace. We wanted to see the 2021 Crump ride with his 6.09 average but instead we have maximum man Masters on his 8.00 average. “Are you ok to ride Jason, sure am I’m riding for Plymouth tonight. Is it ok if we leave you out as we can get a much better rider than you even if fully fit? Er ok, won’t that look bad. Don’t care!”

It amazes me that we can be considered rubbish, if we had scored 5 more race points in certain meetings - which has a minuscule effect on the overall team performance, we would have 7 more match points. Everyone would be extolling the virtues of this great team as we sat proud at the top of the league. The lost points against Poole this week has as much to do with off track shenanigans as it does on track performance. -

I’m afraid to say reading through your thoughts on this it makes no sense to me whatsoever and only raises more questions with regards issue 13. It’s tedious in the extreme how this sport works as some participants look to gain an off track advantage. Maybe I need to speak with Craig Ackroyd to help me get my head round it. -

If the rules were followed we could have used Vissing. The powers that be told us that Tero HAD to be the rider we were replacing and a replacement is at the “directors discretion”. They denied an adequate replacement and we were forced to track Kyle.
