  1. I know it's the longest day but even for that inept fool Chapman this is taking the pee!
  2. NL racing is excellent and should be encouraged at all tracks. Many years ago there were plenty of wobblers and it could drag on due to all the fallers. It's not like that at all now with a high level of skill being shown by even the 6 & 7's. If you're thinking of not going, think again.
  3. I'd have like to have commented on how bad it was signing Adam or that Tai could be drafted in again with motors in tow and how I find it not a particularly sporting way to win. I have issues with the monmore circuit and have done for years but no longer bring it up. All this is solely due to the insults and abuse I'd get for bring up fairly benign topics surrounding Wolverhampton speedway. I can live with it but it does make debate somewhat redundant on a particular few threads.
  4. There's no clearer indication that you're not missing out on anything when you see a page full of This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by stevebrum. View it anyway?
  5. Under profile. 1. Manage ignore prefs. 2. Add a new user to my list. 3. Type in user e.g. stevebrum etc. 4. Save changes. 5. Relax.
  6. It happens in the top division to, which is annoying as we always accommodate changes. Bigger picture and all that.
  7. Maybe the rebels should use a massive water bowser before each meeting as a soaked track doesn't effect the racing and they ride far better in those conditions.
  8. For Tungate to return you'll need your MC buddies to ok it. 16.3.3 A rider in a Team's declared 1 - 7 at the end of the previous season and not included in that Teams new seasons initial declaration may not be subsequently re-introduced into that Team without the express permission of the MC. Can't see it being a problem for you guys, other teams or team might find this kind of thing more difficult. Don't you just love this "sport" of ours?
  9. Swindon have form for this kind of thing. Maybe Robins fans should leave it 'til July/August before turning up knowing the team aren't trying. The play offs would claw back any shortfall. Lol
  10. Whilst I regret what Buster is doing to Kings Lynn it's what he does to other teams (or team) and UK speedway as a whole that is most distressing. We know he's not interested so why not step aside and let the people who want to take the sport forward get on with it.
  11. They didn't use to but now Busters in charge and after tonight that will probably change.
  12. 8 each from their four heats but lucky for us Rye left King out of 15. Get out of jail free.
  13. To not go on Wednesday due to the fact a rider got injured at weekend and you don't like his stand in is horrid.
  14. Having Lambert at reserve should keep the other four on their toes so they are not replaced. The other good thing is you can make use of the good gates and weak heats when considering the joker.
  15. Not far off now. Is it worth buying in advance as there has been a lot of odd call offs at the Norfolk arena lately. What's the start time as Busters meetings tend to drag on over many hours? Will the gage fence be in place or will it be taken down to give a better view, drives me mad trying to watch through that? Some Lynn fans have mentioned about the dirt used being for stock cars and that it's no good for speedway. I'm guessing a race track will be laid a la Cardiff to provide some racing? Will our team be Cook (Workington) King (Ipswich) Worrall (Newcastle) Worrall or Lawson (Glasgow) Lambert (Newcastle) or will Nicholls & Harris get a look in?
  16. Pleasant surprise and very nice of the Poole team to donate one of their points. Bolstered by Batchelor & Bates I couldn't see past a Poole three pointer in fact I was 1 point off in my points prediction. A good start by The Aces saw the dreaded tactical come into play and after our mid meeting lull I thought that was that. Looking at the programme Batchelor or Bates we're in all of the last few heats as of course Batchelor was going to be in heat 15 with a disappointing Hans left out. Some remarkable racing from the Belle Vue boys with Kenneth and Dan being the stand out. Passing didn't seem as easy and this played into the gate and go pirates hands bring use to Wimborne Rd. I'd just like to say I wish the pirates all the luck in the world with regards to injuries and look forward to a full and fit Poole team for their next visit. I'm just glad to see the back of Batchelor & Bates for now.
  17. The inclusion of Hans will certainly put some Poole fans off travelling. 8/5 and 6/5 from his previous visits doesn't inspire confidence but this is off set by strengthening with Batchelor and Bates. If any Poole fans are now thinking of giving it a miss, don't, the racing will be an eye opener.
  18. Since we beat them in the KO Cup Poole haven't scored less than 43 points in any match and sit nicely in second place in the table. Belle Vue currently out of the play off zone with two unconvincing wins and losses to unfancied Somerset. They look there for the taking by any opponent but against a strong Poole side, it should be a walk in the park for the pirates. I'm just looking forward to my speedway fix plus the usual good racing. No home advantage may be our undoing results wise but it certainly seems to add to the spectacle with every racer being in with the chance of a win. Aces 43 Poole 47 ☹️️ Bjerre 13 Batchelor 13
  19. Go Poole. I was willing you on tonight but it will be a different story on Friday. The joys of being a speedway fan. Well done guys.
  20. I'm happy with last night. Six Aces turned up and six came away safe. That's rule number one in my book and how they go about achieving that is down to them. Even with this result we're still ahead of our points target, if you win all your home matches and pick up a point away you finish on 56 and you qualify. Working on that we should be on 16 so as I say above target. I can't begrudge the rebels their win after the start they have endured and just hope they maintain this focus going forward. Craig needs to have a word with himself though. He seems to think everywhere should be like the NSS where come rain or shine you can strut your stuff at full welly. He's kidding himself, these tracks up and down the country need to be ridden and complaining about inadequacies in the racing surface is pointless (literally) and can have an adverse effect on the whole team vibe. Suck it up I say as it's not the first and won't be the last track he's not satisfied with.
  21. Steve is one of the few riders who could get away with being in two places at once.
  22. This is one for the BSPA to decide as it could go either way but with being in this position due to the BSPA you'd have thought the decision would have gone our way. Then you remember it's Belle Vue so their decision now makes total sense. Something's never change. RR should be fine with Craig, Kenneth, Justin and Dan all having an extra ride. Oh and Dan needs to go in heat 1.
