Agreed. I think he will be back but he'll have to be eased back in as MCC would rather anyone with first hand knowledge of their behaviour be kept at arms length. It's pretty much business as usual with the staff in all positions back in place for this year and even George was flouting around as usual. It was a shame Mr 10% offered MCC an avenue to sideline some troublesome tenants as the subsequent fall out wasn't really worth it considering we are back as we were. His laughable desire to have control of the NSS was soon nipped in the bud by MCC but the damaging ball was all ready rolling by then. Anyway back to Chris, I hope he's back soon as we can't afford to loose people like him and David with the sport being in its current state. Maybe attention can be diverted away from Belle Vue now that the speedway bills have been paid. A few weeks ago about 90% was cleared but a bit of rib digging sorted the other 10%. I wonder if the keyboards warriors will turn their attention to another promotion currently being chased for payment of speedway bills by their suppliers?

Lemo's done a lot of work for Darcey's fund raising so I wouldn't be surprised to see it at the NSS next year. Good facilities for Darcy with a bigger crowd to generate more funds plus it removes that element of doubt that seems to surround Wimborne Road. #doitfordarcey

Trouble is if you got a computer to just print out the facts as put out by both sides it would be accused of slanting to story a particular way. That it seems slanted towards one side should tell you something.

Not sounding good any of this. TBH I just thought he was your regular BSF troll be I don't think he's even a speedway fan now. I wouldn't enter into any financial transaction nor give any information about yourself to him as it will only end badly. Anyway back to topic. I don't see any further movement on this until the questioning of the council report in May. I hope it's not council asking council as the whitewash will just continue but even saying that there are some glaring issues that should they continue to be sidestepped will really get under the skin of the speedway community. Let's hope this David vs Goliath battle is a repeat of more famous version.

So it's just a fluke that a poster using your "eloquent" style when sticking it to Belle Vue disappears just as you join the forum? Or are we to believe that having watched the sport for however long, without commenting on here you suddenly feel that you'll sign up and post about the Belle Vue situation? I not sure what I find most insulting, that you think I'll swallow the above BS or your incredibly wide of the mark musings on the NSS. We're at a stage now with everything that's been put out for public consumption, that the prosecution is made up of three kinds. Those that don't get it. Those that just use it as an excuse to troll a thread. Those with an axe to grind with Belle Vue. It's certainly been a good exercise in sorting the wheat from the chaff when populating my ignore folder. Every cloud.

Avoid waytogo28, he's a previously banned fool. I think he's Mocking you. LOL.

I think that will come. When they took over three weeks ago I thought then it wouldn't be enough time to sort everything. They've done a fantastic job in such a short time getting things sorted so I think sponsors and other initiatives will follow during the season. I'm sure Tony and Robin will be calling a few favours in from their high profile contact lists.

Aces season tickets for PL NL combined and seated in the main grandstand offer over a £100 saving again. The new lot are honouring the BV500 club discount of 25% off as well. Marvellous gesture.

Belle Vue have four and a couple are quite young. We're hoping the locally sourced Colts will help things grow and flourish. The senior team has also done away with this need to fly riders in and out of the country whilst perfectly cabable UK riders sit on the side lines. There should be a minimum of four Brits per team IMO. Will the rest of the league go for it. For the good of British speedway back the red white and black, sorry blue!

Under 12's free at Belle Vue. Under 19's pay £7.

Sedgeman said, But Ive been working quite a bit with Terry and Wayne Russell, who were very helpful in getting my visa sorted, and Mark Lemon in particular, who comes from the same town as me in Aussie". I was told a month ago about Max's visa problems and they were on it then. If it takes the reported two months to sort then he should be ok for the start of the season. I dont think they want to announce him yet as we had our fingers burned a few years back with Travis Mcgown where we announced him but he never came. Looked a bit silly.

Your absolutely right about the racing attracting crowds back to Belle Vue. The quality of racing is the reason I don't visit away Prem tracks anymore as it's just not worth it. I never watch live speedway, I just record it so I can fast forward after the third bend. Before the NSS opened I assumed tracks and bikes had changed so much that good racing was no longer the norm. That's not the case and I believe all tracks should be prepared for good racing first and not the surface that offers the best chance of a home win. IMO this has been central to the demise of the sport over the last few decades. The 60 seconds is all in this sport, get that right and a delay here, poor announcer, crap food or dodgy car park become less of an issue and folk are more likely to return.

If the rider fifth in our averages outperforms Pooles or anybody else's third and fourth placed riders then we're laughing. I'd be happy if he just matched them tbh. I hope all three do well as we need these lads coming through to be the heat leaders and GP stars of the future.
-
I'm crossing my fingers that Sedgeman can hold his own against the other number five averaged riders, Rose, Riss, Newman, Robson, Wright and Wilson Dean. You've got to remember we're putting this team together at the eleventh hour, well more like five to twelve so we'll take what we can, at least we're on track. Not expecting much I'm just happy to watch The Aces at the fabulous NSS. On the Brits thing how many teams have more than us?

Ah, nothing quite like catching an Orion quote posted by another member. Is he still a muppet, has he got a contribution to make, will there be a pearl of wisdom to mull over? Muppet came the answer loud and clear. The quintessential troll, an utter irrelevance of a person who posts insults due to their inability to grasp the complexities? of the topics under discussion. Previously funny, now just sad. Oops forgot the emojis. Pictures help him understand a bit better. 😂😂♣️♣️😴😴😡😡😱😱

With regards to the MCC report a scrutiny process will take place with answers to the questions posed by the report being dealt with in May.
-
Ok. MCC withheld it but it's not in their account. ISG don't have it as it's still being secrectly discussed. Belle Vue don't have. So where is it?
-
"And withheld that total amount from the payment made then." I'm taking from this you think it's in an MCC account awaiting the outcome of legal action between ISG and MCC. To queer the pitch further though in a press release dated 04/11/2016 an ISG spokesman stated, We can confirm that there has never been any form of legal dispute between ISG and Manchester City Council as a result of the stadiums delivery, and we continue to work closely with the council delivering projects across the region.
-
The wording is "come to light" not documents found. This actually confirms ISGs culpability in all this as even IF they had told Belle Vue that other material was being used they still should not have used it until clearing it with their "employers" MCC. It's been established that Belle Vues right to interfere in construction matters was nil. ISG might as well of told Alan from the chippy for all the good it would have done in following procedures and gain clearance. At least the council now along with Belle Vue are pointing the finger at the guilty party so finally it's hoped we can move on to sorting the compensation out. The only way the above is not what the council mean is if they think DG/CM drove the diggers themselves under the cover of darkness. Stupid as it sounds there will be some on here that think that's the case. Lol.
-
"£350,000 rent to be paid from the operator." "The Council has a claim for £224,000 in respect of unpaid rent." "£126,000 has been incurred in legal and consultancy fees associated with the remediation of the track and subsequent legal claims." "There were no costs to the City Council in respect of remedying the defects."
-
At least now the NDA put in place by MCC on the Arup track report can be lifted. It showed MCC and ISG in a bad light but now that it's been pointed out it was all Belle Vues fault there is no reason for it to remain secret. Is there?
-
MCC say they didn't know the £500k of funding from the original investors had been replaced by £600k from new investors in October 2015. They didn't know because Belle Vue didn't tell them -until October 2016. MCC must have known as they cannot have been that disinterested about something that now appears crucial. To be berated for not taking out a loan is unjustifiable unless the terms of the loan are made available. Would you take kindly to being thought a financial fool if you didn't take out a Wonga loan for example? To come up with their excuse about the track after all this time with all their resources shows how desperate MCC truly are. "It wasn't me Gov, honest."

As we thought it's slowly coming out. This new info unearthed by the M.E.N. is very damming. Had the council come clean about the nappies etc then the Aces promotion could have just delayed things instead of labouring to fix the problem believing it was a normal speedway issue with the shale. It would have saved the fans a lot of heartache. Having fixed the problem and run a successful test they never imagined a sub base issue would scupper their plans and to now find out the perpetrators knew,is astounding. While it looks like DG and all will get their £700k it's just a great shame that money isn't within the speedway family. I'm not sure what it would take from the powers that be and us fans to get them back involved. We need them now more than ever as someone who could steer a working committee to get tracks built or re opened would be a godsend right now and that's something we can all agree on.

I think your getting Buster mixed up with David Helmsley. You silly billy.

In the EL last year Richie averaged 5.82 whilst riding at reserve against NL riders. In the EL last year Danny averaged 7.22 whilst riding at heat leader against GP riders.
