that shouldn't give him the automatic right to be in the team, even when we were up against it last night his team mates battled their socks off to give us a one point lead only for him to go out and run a 1-5 in the very next race absolutely shocking performance like many have said he is to much of an enigma and cant be relied on as you don't know which lingren will turn up, could we not bring Hansen in to replace him

Regardless someone has made a huge gaff and after all they are all part of the same committee,makes me wonder if they have promised king a team place and now have to go with it

How many matches does king have to ride before he gets an average

Have to say tonight was a disgrace we cannot carry what is effectively 3 reserves, lingren should be doing better as all the riders need to be on song..we got 60points against redcar with the old team.. Can't believe a guy who is on the management committee and has been in the sport so lo g can make such a huge mistake over the Lambert saga surely it was checked out first???? And if they couldn't make the planned changes why make them at all and make us weaker

Still think it makes us look weaker We are going to have to rely on king,Robson,lingren and Kerr to get most of the points and if one of them has an off night we've had it,I think rose has bags of potential but I think putting him in the team this early could damage him and I think schramm is past his best and we ain't going to get the big scores from him that you need to from a reserve to be sucessfull and lingren is far to inconsistent,if it had been me I would have left him out over rosen as rosen has the ability to improve

While changes were needed and the boldness must be applauded I think this makes us weaker especially with schramm or rose in the main body of the team. Would like George to come out and explain the thinking behind it

We are into May now and to say it's to early to see is rubbish,we have had over a month to see and we have not been up to the usual high standards set by newcastle teams in the past,if we're to turn the season around now something needs to be changed,do I think it will happen probably not given the promotion normally stick with what we have and are not known for making to many big/important decisions but if the season is not to be over by the end of May they need to act now

The top and bottom of it is regardless of what number he is the performances are not up to it and it is costing us points. Due to the make up of the team everyone has to contribute and its no good just doing it against the weaker teams.

Lingren and shramm were really poor tonight for a man of his experience shramm should not be falling off as much and its not a case of if but when. Lingren is not a no1 and judging by his past three performances unless he ups his game we are really going to struggle this year. Don't know if it's me but I havnt been for a while and coming back it seems a bit flat there's no buzz about the place no excitement no one to get u on the edge of your seat

Have to say a bit underwelmed with that was really excited to see what was going to happen. Having not been at speedway for the best part of 2years I was looking forward to coming back this year but will now see what happens

It seems a bit unfair we can't be given more time after all we are replacing an Injured rider one who was injured riding for another team and not just trying to strengthen the side for the run in

Not so sure we need someone with potential for big scores as we know robbo was worth more than his average suggests

Sorry to say Claus isn't the rider we need he's to inconsistent but he's probably the easiest option

Wouldn't he come in on a 7 anyway despite not having riden enough matches.looks impressive from seeing him on the telly for Eastbourne

based on this season's high standards if we are to maintain our position I think we need to find a replacement for robbo (get well soon mate) as I think we will struggle with r/r how many points to play with ???

i have to say i havnt been to many meetings over the last few years down to changes in my family circumstances not anything else but i do agreee with other posts in that the longer i stay away the easier it is not to go again and theres probably more just like me,i did attend a meeting earlier in the season against redcar and with the stand being closed there was absolutely no atmosphere,the other thing putting me off is the same teams seem to be there a lot.,not sure how many times workington have been there and that put me ff a bit,i do appreciate the travel costs ect and the away fans support but variety is the spice of life so they say........will try and get to a few more before e end of the season

see Renes going back to workington bit disapointed thought there was a chance he would come to newcastle

who does Rene belong to i have never really heard an honest answer, we were told a while back he was a newcastle asset but that now may appear not to be the case

especially with him being the aus manager, i can remeber over the last 3 years him being almost unbeatable at home and nearly the same away, thats why i cant understand this season

agree and disagree as i think we have always had a good performance at reserve to cover for the other short comings and christian at times has riden like a heat leader, i may be wrong but i think last weeks score was lemons first double figure one in ages
