  1. Yes, or have contracts where I could not find info about.
  2. Hope they can fit some more GP's in between. Really annoying for the riders, especially the Russians.
  3. Some rumours for 2018: GP's: Krasnogorsk Togliatti Astana Berlin Inzell Heerenveen Teams: Shadrinsk
  4. Theo di Palma will replace him in the GP's.

  6. Live update will be available here: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/205/roelof-thijs-bokaal-heerenveen.html We will also provide Periscope livestream again
  7. One Sport bought the rights for U21 and run it together with FIM. So it's not like One Sport ran the whole show in KL.... still a FIM event
  8. My photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/1298/fogo-power-winnaar-eerste-ronde-speedway-best-pairs-cup.html
  9. Hello from a very cold Torun. Racing indeed not very spectacular but it's good to have the speedway season back
  10. SWC and U21 are both promoted events, so that's a little different Australia is a different thing
  11. It's all about loyalty from federations to the FIM I think. ACU doesn't do much in hosting events (like FSP said) or sending riders to FIM Europe events. And yes, FIME might be a different department but in fact most of the same people are involved in both parties in some way.
  12. Who cares if it's meaningless? I realy don't understand these comments all the time about this competition. Top riders, best track in the word, tv coverage, what more do you want?
  13. Esbjerg regs now online which confirms just one spot for ACU. http://www.fim-live.com/en/library/download/60858/no_cache/1/
  14. I think it has also something to do with the UK completly ignoring the European championships.
  15. Moravec and Castagna made sure their countries got enough spots haha.
  16. Country - Requested - Obtained Argentina 2 - 1 Australia 5 - 4 Austria 3 - 2 Belgium 1 - 1 Croatia 1 - 1 Czech Republic 6 - 5 Denmark 8 - 6 Finland 2 - 2 France 2 - 2 Germany 5 - 5 Great Britain 6 - 2 Hungary 3 - 2 Italy 4 - 4 Latvia 4 - 3 New Zealand 1 - 1 Norway 2 - 2 Poland 8 - 6 Russia 2 - 2 Slovakia 2 - 2 Slovenia 4 - 3 Sweden 8 - 6 Ukraine 3 - 1 USA 1 - 1
  17. 1 in Esbjerg. ACU requested 6 spots by the way. Funny that the Czechs requested 6 and got 5.
  18. Reserves will be known after the Friday Roelof Thijs meeting top two Dutch riders will get the reserve spots.
  19. Yeah I will be doing live updates. Should get the results every four heats I will be there Saturday/Sunday. There will be a couple changes in the lineup as Norola and Westlund won't be there.
  20. We flew to Togliatti a few weeks ago for the Icespeedway and the traveling was easy as. Cologne - Moscow Vnukovo - Kurumoch. We used Russias 'Ryanair' Pobeda which is cheap, but they want money for everything else. Make sure you have 2 hours minimum connection time in Moscow. We had less then an hour and missed our connection (also due to a little delay). Passport/visa takes some time. From Kurumoch take an Uber 'taxi' to Togliatti which costs around 15 pounds for a 1 hour 60km journey. Our roadtrip was quite scary in the snow, but it should be Ok in the summer. My experience with taxi's in Russia on a previous trip was terrible as they rip you off guaranteed. Uber solves this problem Kurumoch airport has a hotel on 15 minute walking distance which is expensive but ok.
