  1. I don't agree about the spectator interest. Inzell is sold out every year. Berlin had more visitors then last year. Heerenveen had good figures with 17.000 over three nights (with 8k on saturday). I'm sure an extra GP in Austria or even Sweden would be possible. I was in Togliatti too and it was different there, stadium was nowhere near full. Regarding the Dutch riders: we have three lads going big in the next few years. Ex Moto3 rider Jasper Iwema made huge progress and made Ledstrom and Bauer lifes difficult in only his 3rd race ever. Too bad he got excluded twice due to innerline and a crash. Then we have Jimmy Tuinstra (Johnny his son) and Bart Schaap. I can see a bright future for all three, all they need is the right backing. This is because there aren't enough good Russian kids coming through. Money is a huge problem in Russia. Riders can't afford much these days.
  2. Yes, or have contracts where I could not find info about.
  3. Hope they can fit some more GP's in between. Really annoying for the riders, especially the Russians.
  4. Some rumours for 2018: GP's: Krasnogorsk Togliatti Astana Berlin Inzell Heerenveen Teams: Shadrinsk
  5. Theo di Palma will replace him in the GP's.

  7. Live update will be available here: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/205/roelof-thijs-bokaal-heerenveen.html We will also provide Periscope livestream again
  8. One Sport bought the rights for U21 and run it together with FIM. So it's not like One Sport ran the whole show in KL.... still a FIM event
  9. My photo's here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/1298/fogo-power-winnaar-eerste-ronde-speedway-best-pairs-cup.html
  10. Hello from a very cold Torun. Racing indeed not very spectacular but it's good to have the speedway season back
  11. SWC and U21 are both promoted events, so that's a little different Australia is a different thing
  12. It's all about loyalty from federations to the FIM I think. ACU doesn't do much in hosting events (like FSP said) or sending riders to FIM Europe events. And yes, FIME might be a different department but in fact most of the same people are involved in both parties in some way.
  13. Who cares if it's meaningless? I realy don't understand these comments all the time about this competition. Top riders, best track in the word, tv coverage, what more do you want?
  14. Esbjerg regs now online which confirms just one spot for ACU. http://www.fim-live.com/en/library/download/60858/no_cache/1/
  15. I think it has also something to do with the UK completly ignoring the European championships.
  16. Moravec and Castagna made sure their countries got enough spots haha.
  17. Country - Requested - Obtained Argentina 2 - 1 Australia 5 - 4 Austria 3 - 2 Belgium 1 - 1 Croatia 1 - 1 Czech Republic 6 - 5 Denmark 8 - 6 Finland 2 - 2 France 2 - 2 Germany 5 - 5 Great Britain 6 - 2 Hungary 3 - 2 Italy 4 - 4 Latvia 4 - 3 New Zealand 1 - 1 Norway 2 - 2 Poland 8 - 6 Russia 2 - 2 Slovakia 2 - 2 Slovenia 4 - 3 Sweden 8 - 6 Ukraine 3 - 1 USA 1 - 1
  18. 1 in Esbjerg. ACU requested 6 spots by the way. Funny that the Czechs requested 6 and got 5.
