  1. Klabo is very unhappy with the 'GP circus' https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&nv=1&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=cs&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://www.speedwayfakta.cz/2017/02/jan-klatovsky-zkusim-si-uzit-evropskou-cast/&usg=ALkJrhjN7iChrai0QdMJXKSsTD6gzFhAJg
  2. Simon really likes to drive to remote places it seems. All the way to Blagoveshchensk (other side of Russia) a few years ago and now to Almaty, crazy trips Swedish riders seem to have a problem as they have there national championship on Saturday.
  3. Ivanov looks to be out for the season as he needs surgery on this broken shoulder. http://www.speedweek.com/eisspeedwaygp/news/105642/Daniil-Ivanov-braucht-Operation-Schulter-gebrochen.html So it's Timo Kankunnen to replace Jimmy Olsen in Berlin, and Charly Ebner junior will replace Ivanov as it looks right now.
  4. FIM TV was there too, so the usual highlight cli[ should be online soon.
  5. Zorn was amazing and his gating is brilliant. Got first in the first corner final and held on to the second place for a little while. Russians are still the ice masters with Valeev as their next big new kid. Love his attacking no-fear riding style.
  6. The Russian border joke continues with Weber stuck and will miss tomorrows practice for sure. We will fly to Russia tomorrow and also provide live updates: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/191/wk-ijsspeedway-gp-1-togliatti.html http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/192/wk-ijsspeedway-gp-2-togliatti.html
  7. FIM just send out an update to the calendars, and Rye House will host one of the four FIM Flattrack Cup finals on August 26th.
  8. Results from Champex-Lac: 1. Gunter Bauer DE (3,3,3,3) 12 2. Josef Kreuzberger AT (1,2,3,3) 9 3. Max Niedermaier DE (3,3,1,2) 9 4. Charly Ebner jr AT (2,3,2,2) 9 5. Luca Bauer DE (3,2,2,1) 8 5. Erwin Schuster AT (3,2,3,*) 8 7. Markus Jell DE (2,3,2,*) 7 8. Tobias Busch DE (2,2,3,Fd) 7 9. Ronny Haring CH (1,0,2,1) 4 9. Reinhard Greisel DE (Fd,0,1,3) 4 9. Simon Gartmann CH (1,1,0,2) 4 12. Martin Glarner CH (1,1,1,*) 3 13. Robert Irving GB (0,1,1,1) 3 14. Miko Ronkainen FI (2,Fd,Fd,-) 2 15. Beat Dobler CH (Fd,1,0,-) 1 16. Roger Newton GB (0,0,0,*) 0 17. Dani Muller (res) CH (0,0,0) 0 Meeting cancelled after 15 heats (don't know why). They did award the event after 4 rides (16 heats), although four riders (Schuster,Jell,Glarner,Newton) didn't even rode 4 heats.
  9. He has joined the Russian army and therefore can't race this season.
  10. Wildcards for Niclas Svensson and Hans Weber Reserves: Simon, Kankunen, Ebner und L.Bauer.
  11. It's decided by the FIM, so I guess they will also look at the qualifiers. Simon and Svensson junior are both good additions to the lineup, and were unlucky in the qualifiers. I do however have a feeling that we might see a Finish rider in it too as Seppanen is in charge Weber as a wildcard in Berlin would be good. I would not be suprised if we see Tobias Busch in Berlin, or at least as a reserve, as he is sponsored by Berlin.
  12. I think Niclas Svensson will get a wildcard, and Harald Simon too.
  13. Berge also considering giving up longtrack. Longtrack GP getting a joke now with riders dropping out and FIM giving places to random riders like Kylmakorpi and Harris (both didn't enter the qualies).
  14. Speedweek leaked the calendar for 2017: 25.03 Torun (PL) 02.05 Gniezno (PL) 25.05 Landshut (DE)
  15. Such a pity Chichkov crashed out on the first day due to Makarov's reckless move. But with Valeev we have new name in the GP's it seems (well if he qualifies, which is more then likely). It seems that Ivanov and Valeev will go to the GP qualifier in Ylitornio, and therefore miss out on the 3rd and 4th Russian championship final. Terrible planning by the Russian federation, although they did request the FIM to move the Ylitornio qualifier a week later (with FIM declining). With such few weekends in the icespeedway season this is just a shame. Kononov and Koltakov will go to Stromsund for the other qualifier. Pickings to be confirmed on December 30.
  16. http://www.apmedia.info/ "With professional quality websites starting at £300, you can't afford not to check us out." That line says it all....
  17. No offense but these logos aren't very modern. Especially the first one is really bad with this Word mirror effect. The other two don't give me a clue about speedway. As a web developer I almost started to cry when I read I have to send an email to make a vote.....
