Yeah I will be doing live updates. Should get the results every four heats I will be there Saturday/Sunday. There will be a couple changes in the lineup as Norola and Westlund won't be there.

We flew to Togliatti a few weeks ago for the Icespeedway and the traveling was easy as. Cologne - Moscow Vnukovo - Kurumoch. We used Russias 'Ryanair' Pobeda which is cheap, but they want money for everything else. Make sure you have 2 hours minimum connection time in Moscow. We had less then an hour and missed our connection (also due to a little delay). Passport/visa takes some time. From Kurumoch take an Uber 'taxi' to Togliatti which costs around 15 pounds for a 1 hour 60km journey. Our roadtrip was quite scary in the snow, but it should be Ok in the summer. My experience with taxi's in Russia on a previous trip was terrible as they rip you off guaranteed. Uber solves this problem Kurumoch airport has a hotel on 15 minute walking distance which is expensive but ok.

Simon really likes to drive to remote places it seems. All the way to Blagoveshchensk (other side of Russia) a few years ago and now to Almaty, crazy trips Swedish riders seem to have a problem as they have there national championship on Saturday.

Zorn was amazing and his gating is brilliant. Got first in the first corner final and held on to the second place for a little while. Russians are still the ice masters with Valeev as their next big new kid. Love his attacking no-fear riding style.

FIM just send out an update to the calendars, and Rye House will host one of the four FIM Flattrack Cup finals on August 26th.

He has joined the Russian army and therefore can't race this season.

It's decided by the FIM, so I guess they will also look at the qualifiers. Simon and Svensson junior are both good additions to the lineup, and were unlucky in the qualifiers. I do however have a feeling that we might see a Finish rider in it too as Seppanen is in charge Weber as a wildcard in Berlin would be good. I would not be suprised if we see Tobias Busch in Berlin, or at least as a reserve, as he is sponsored by Berlin.

I think Niclas Svensson will get a wildcard, and Harald Simon too.

Stichauer is next indeed, then Di Palma.

Berge also considering giving up longtrack. Longtrack GP getting a joke now with riders dropping out and FIM giving places to random riders like Kylmakorpi and Harris (both didn't enter the qualies).

Such a pity Chichkov crashed out on the first day due to Makarov's reckless move. But with Valeev we have new name in the GP's it seems (well if he qualifies, which is more then likely). It seems that Ivanov and Valeev will go to the GP qualifier in Ylitornio, and therefore miss out on the 3rd and 4th Russian championship final. Terrible planning by the Russian federation, although they did request the FIM to move the Ylitornio qualifier a week later (with FIM declining). With such few weekends in the icespeedway season this is just a shame. Kononov and Koltakov will go to Stromsund for the other qualifier. Pickings to be confirmed on December 30.
