  1. See you there I will be finally making my first visit to Slovenia for some racing. Roadtripping from NL
  2. There won't be a rider from Kazakhstan in Ostersund. First reserve moves up.
  3. Believe he is 67 years old now, still going strong and scored 4 points in the first league match yesterday.
  4. I think the 'exciting new country' will not be somewhere we are used to.... especially when the website has an option to translate it in Arabian.
  5. Very good prices imo Sales are going well it seems
  6. I hope too.... a new ice stadium looks almost certain, but the question remains if they are willing to stage icespeedway. Same here in NL, not a sign of king winter to arrive. Think we will get the bad news info's from Steingaden/Weissenbach soon.
  7. Yes that's right. The Drenthe province has two candidates for a new ice stadium: Assen and Hoogeveen. The one with the best plan/idea will get the investment/support from the province. Both parties have to make an even more detailed plan because both were rejected some time ago it seems.... And this costs alot of money. To be continued
  8. The One Sport Best Pairs will be back in 2016, but a little different..... no nations but companies can enter the competition. So the companies can buy any riders they like it seems. There will be three events in April/Mai next year, with one round in Germany. More info (in German) here: http://www.speedweek.com//speedwaybp/news/85528/Best-Pairs-Neue-Ideen-wer-bezahlt-deutsches-Team.html
  9. Russian semi finals have been cut short by one round (Novosibirsk) due to a decreasing number of riders. The Sterlitamak round has been moved to Kumertau. The season starts this weekend, and I'm pretty excited. Hope the Russians got their live streams up and running again :)
  10. The second final (on 06.08.2016) will be held in Latvia, so most likely in Daugavpils. Oh and believe it or not but there are once again NO riders from the ACU in the SEC qualifiers
  11. 2016 qualifiers: 30.04 Semi final 1 Debrecen 05.05 Semi final 2 Mureck 14.05 Semi final 3 Liberec 15.05 Semi final 4 Zarnovica 26.05 Challenge Olching
  12. Over and out for ZKS Ostrovia as they are bankrupt and resigned from the league. Probably Wroclaw will stage their meetings there.
  13. The SWC will allow reserve in the teams as from next year. This reserve rider can replace a ride who got injured, so for example Poland would have been able to replace Hamel in Gniezno earlier this year. Also it seems that this reserve rider must be a U21 rider. GP's will need at least 16 heats to complete, this was 12 in previous years. http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/562695/powazne-zmiany-w-grand-prix-i-dps
  14. Haven't seen that list anywhere yet. By the way: FIM Europe calendar was supposed to be published online today... but nothing yet.
  15. Riding numbers confirmed: 108 (1) Tai Woffinden (Great Britain) 45 (2) Greg Hancock (United States) 3 (3) Nicki Pedersen (Denmark) 88 (4) Niels-Kristian Iversen (Denmark) 69 (5) Jason Doyle (Australia) 55 (6) Matej Zagar (Slovenia) 71 (7) Maciej Janowski (Poland) 23 (8) Chris Holder (Australia) 25 (9) Peter Kildemand (Denmark) 100 (10) Andreas Jonsson (Sweden) 37 (11) Chris Harris (Great Britain) 33 (12) Jaroslaw Hampel (Poland) 95 (13) Bartosz Zmarzlik (Poland) 777 (14) Piotr Pawlicki (Poland) 85 (15) Antonio Lindback (Sweden) SUBSTITUTE RIDERS 66 (19) Fredrik Lindgren (Sweden) 52 (20) Michael Jepsen Jensen (Denmark) 21 (21) Vaclav Milik (Czech Republic)
  16. I don't know, it's always a bit quiet at the start of the season. One new this is that the FIM is staging a official trainingcamp this year (first time ever). It wil be held in Ylitornio from 3 till 6 december.
  17. Qualifier will be held in Terenzano on 02.06.2016. Teams competing: Slovenia, Germany, Latvia and Italy. Norway on standby. Russia is TBC... if they drop out then the 2nd team from Terenzano will replace them.
  18. Two international meetings: 03.01 Weißenbach (AT) 06.01 Steingaden (DE) Both to be confirmed... hope it gets cold enough. And the Euros in Sankt Johann 30.01 (instead of Ufa) it seems.
  19. The final round of the SEC will be held on 17.09.2016 somewhere in PL, so it makes sense now why the U21 round in Pardubice is on the friday on the ZP weekend.
