  1. Batch just posted a pics on Instagram - stadium looks pretty nice :) https://instagram.com/p/6FEfWtPHJK/
  2. 100% Danish license in the Abensberg FIM event a while ago, but whatever
  3. The draw for Lublin, round 2, on the 15th of August: 1. Brady Kurtz 2. Bartosz Zmarzlik 3. Kyle Howarth (wildcard) 4. Nikolaj B. Jacobsen 5. Emil Grondal 6. Andzejs Lebedevs 7. Pawel Przedpelski 8. Mikkel Michelsen 9. Viktor Kulakov 10. Aleksander Loktaev 11. Stefan Nielsen 12. Max Fricke 13. Maksym Drabik (wildcard) 14. Mikkel Bech Jensen 15. Victor Palovaara 16. Anders Thomsen -- 17. Adrian Cyfer 18. Kacper Woryna Unlikely that Loktaev will start. No idea who will replace him as there is not a subsitute list I believe. Also very annoying that all U21 rounds clash with SEC events...
  4. No way there were 6.000 people in a different article they said 4k with is more like it. Anyway, for those interested; my pics and report in Dutch here: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/795/imme-grigory-laguta-winnaar-ekstraliga-individueel-kampioenschap.html
  5. Not taking any risks it seems; track is under covers: https://www.facebook.com/speedwaygrandprixhorsens/posts/888501467854512
  6. Weather forecast looks good: https://www.google.nl/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=uoDAVcqvD8me-waj_qe4Bg&gws_rd=ssl#q=weather+horsens
  7. Not very suprising but Bartosz Zmarzlik got the wildcard for the Gorzow Speedway Gp on the 29th of August. His Gorzow colleagues Adrian Cyfer and Rafal Karczmarz are the reserves. For those traveling to the GP: the final of the Silver Helmet championship will be held on the sunday after the GP in Pila which is a 120km drive from GW.
  8. My photo's from Gdansk: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/792/polish-battle-gdansk-ten-onder-tegen-de-poolse-selectie.html
  9. Oh dear, that's a pity. In Muhldorf he said he was quite keen on doing more LT. Shame Good point about the tracks, Eenrum, Vechta and Morizes are not realy 'long tracks' lol. Thanks for the info
  10. Zielona Gora will have a couple fans in Gorzow now after all it seems.
  11. Money money money My god what a brilliant meeting we've seen tonight in Leszno once again shows how brilliant track it is great weekend overall with Gdansk yesterday and this big one today.
  12. Hello from Poland, almost in Leszno interesting system they use tonight with only the top 2 going in the finals and the 3-10 are in two semi finals.
  13. Good point, but 150 pounds for a night... no thanks. Been to Cardiff a couple times now but never stayed in a hotel there... crazy prices if you ask me. One time I drove there from The Netherlands and back on a day, better then throwing my money away lol.
  14. Huckenbeck is quite a talent on the bike. But as a clubrider I guess he had some pre meeting practice at the Werlte track . He got some brilliant equipment as well. Last year at his first LT meeting (also Werlte) he got 8th in the German championship, started as a reserve he made it to the semi finals (2 instead of 3 rides). His second meeting was a bigger event; Open International meeting in Vechta. He came second, but would have won it if he wasn't distracted by a photographer with a red light (he was leading in that race).
  15. Gorzow is likely to be out after this year (last year on contract): https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=pl&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=sportowefakty.pl%2Fzuzel&edit-text=
  16. Lineup: Gdansk 1. Magnus Zetterstrom 2. Darcy Ward 3. Bjarne Pedersen 4. Nicki Pedersen 5. Tomasz Gollob 6. Kenneth Bjerre Polska 1. Maciej Janowski 2. Krystian Pieszczek 3. Piotr Pawlicki 4. Przemysław Pawlicki 5. Bartosz Zmarzlik 6. Krzysztof Buczkowski Realy looking forward to this one First time for me in Gdansk.
  17. German domination yesterday at the Longtrack GP Challenge in Werlte. The meeting got postponed from saturday eve to sunday afternoon after bad weather forecast. Turned out to be a great decision as the weather was great yesterday. The event was won by speedway kid and local hero Kai Huckenbeck who only rode his third longtrack meeting in his career. The top 3 of the event are qualified for the 2016 GP Series, so new boy Huckenbeck is one of the new names for next years GP's. The podium got completed by two veterans; current GP rider Jörg Tebbe and a very happy Matthias 'Matten' Kröger who secured third after finishing fourth in the final. All the points counted for the final classification. Worth mentioning that after the semi finals 4 riders landed on 20 points before heading into a straight shoot out for the top 3. Full results here: http://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/108/wk-langbaan-challenge-werlte.html And my photo's: http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/786/kai-huckenbeck-wint-de-langbaan-gp-challenge-in-werlte-.html
  18. Lol, would be cool Henny is still on it - won a classic meeting in Lelystad earlier this year.
  19. Provisional dates for the FIM meetings: Qualifications 16.01-17.01 Semi final 1 - tba (FI) 23.01-24.01 Semi final 2 - tba (SE) 30.01-31.01 Challenge - tba (SE) GP's 06.02-07.02 Final 1 - Krasnogorsk (RU) 20.02-21.02 Final 2 - Almaty (KZ) 05.03-06.03 Final 3 - Berlin (DE) 12.03-13.03 Final 4 - Assen (NL) 19.03-20.03 Final 5 - Inzell (DE) Teams 13.02-14.02 Togliatti (RU) European championship 20.02-21.02 Ufa (RU) The Assen and Inzell dates are confirmed already. I'm 99% sure that the Berlin meeting is on the weekend before Assen. Also nice to mention is that Innsbruck is back, and they are going to run a Masters of Spikes event on 19/20 December. I heard that the MOS is going to be a little championship, so more rounds will be added. Maybe Steingaden, Sankt Johann etc. Assen will be the last time by the way (in the current stadium)...
  20. Ah - this one should work: http://data.baansportfansite.nl/dump/983-IMG-20150722-WA0008-jpg.jpg
  21. New German article about the Teterow GP: http://www.speedway-forum.de/index.php/Attachment/983-IMG-20150722-WA0008-jpg/ (same author as that other article) Quick translation: indeed no confirmation of the date. Talks going on with BSI and the Teterow club about possibly staging a GP. They do have three big sponsors ready to finance some of the costs.
  22. Yeah the place is quite dreary. There is a little stand at the homestraight (shown on maps). Edit: I was there in 2013, and took his panorama shot: https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/997999_10151489160201428_1244952359_n.jpg?oh=549d61a7993657da0a7468de6560c08e&oe=564B74F1 Edit 2: Photo from a local newspaper confirming the news: https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/11760145_406106036246447_25670604936720950_n.jpg?oh=bf8a537eab68b9a3bdd36eb457cbe929&oe=561A2AF0
