  1. Oh dear, practice is cancelled according to Batch on twitter!
  2. De Vries is indeed Dutch, he lives in Naarden and races on a German license for a couple years now.
  3. Too bad Lakeside got called off, at least we could get on an much earlier ferry back to Dunkirk. Realy enjoyed the week in the UK and I will be back for more action for sure. Although so many speedway meetings are IMO not the way to go for UK speedway, it is good for speedway fans to go on a 'holiday' and watch some racing (almost) every day haha.
  4. Enjoyable week in the UK sofar... Never been to any of these tracks till now. Wolves on monday: cool little place with some great racing. Surprised you could only stand on the home straight. The commentator was awesome, he got some crazy moves as well!! Bit of sightseeing in Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester on tuesday. Poole on wednesday: great track and quite a big crowd I must say! Dull commentator compared to the dude at Wolves. Racing was great again. Been to Swindon today, don't like the place. Hard to see all the racing because of the high fence, not cool. Compared to Wolves and Poole today's racing was not very exciting. Off to Lakeside tomorrow. Gotta admit it's a pretty expensive experience to watch to many speedway meetings. All clubs ask 17 pounds which is like 22 euros. Not sure what the monthly income is in the UK but to watch all your team's meetings with your family must be costing a fortune.. Programm is not included in the price (strange), adds another 3 pounds. Plus parking!
  5. Infact I see Poole three times haha I'm at Wolverhampton on monday, Poole wednesday, Swindon thursday and Lakeside friday... then off to Holsted for SEC round 3 on saturday. Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the info Hope there will be some chances as 5 days of UK speedway in a row sounds cool to me haha
  7. Little question: is there any speedway racing planned for the 5th of August? I'm planning a week of speedway in the UK but can't seem to find anything for August 5 THANKS.
  8. No offence but these very few FIM (Europe) meetings aren't killing 'league racing'.... Your BSPA needs to sort out the crazy race schedule, that's the problem... FIM meetings are 95% on weekends. The complete FIM calendar should be publishing in November, the FIM Europe calender follows afterwards.
  9. Pardubice is indeed an awesome weekend Another cool suggestion is the Gorzow SGP / Zielona Gora WSL weekend
  10. The draw: Red: Spar Falubaz Zielona Gora Blue: Poole Pirates White: Piraterna (SMK Motala SK) Yellow: Esbjerg Motorsport

  15. Bridger has been sacked by his Polish club Rybnik after missing his flight yesterday ....

  19. Sounds good GW! Although the facts are a bit mixed up haha The Golden Helmet meeting in Heusden-Zolder will now go ahead after all. Positive replies from riders, fans, club employees made the club management decide to run the race after they decided to cancel it a few weeks ago. Date is 24 august.
