  4. Could someone please give me a list of Polish meetings which will be held on the sunday after the Bydgoszcz GP?
  5. I just did some calculations and there is no change in the top 3. The only change would be that Krzystof Kasprzak would switch positions with Thomas H. Jonasson (18th and 19th position). For what it's worth; see below for the riders who scored double points last year; Chris Holder 11, Tomasz Gollob 9, Greg Hancock 8, Antonio Lindbäck 8, Nicki Pedersen 7, Jason Crump 5, Fredrik Lindgren 5, Martin Vakulic 3, Jaroslaw Hampel 3, Emil Sayfutdinov 2, Andreas Jonsson 2, Krzystof Kasprzak 2, Bartosz Zmarzlik 1.

  9. Looks like Niklas is following the same style as Dmitri Koltakov
  10. Holstein got the wildcard for Assen now afterall...
  11. Any info on speedway racing in the Auckland area on the sunday after the GP? EDIT: Ah, there will be a sidecar meeting at Rosebank speedway that's cool.
  12. Yeah he's a German dude, started this year with icespeedway, but only for fun.
  13. Yes the Roden club is going to try to rent the Moorwinkelsdamm track.
  14. I'm trying to find where I read this.. this was also the reason why a few meters from the airfence where marked off with orange cones. EDIT: Quote from the November 10 speedway star; 'I was intrigued to discover that the breand new air fence proudly erected by the local authorities was not to be used as the final safety barrier. Not because it was in any way unfit for purpose, simple because it was not manufactured by one of the FIM's aproved suppliers. Thus, the local fell foul of the dreaded homologation rules, which would currently require that they buy from a European source and then pay about the same amount of money to get such fence shipped down here. Instead, a fence was designed to meet the requirements of safety, and installed. At a quarter of the cost of purchase and shipment of one of the homologated barriers. But which can't at present be used for an FIM event. So we were faced with the rather bizarre sight of the brand, spanking, new blue barrier all pumped up and encircling the wide sweeping bends - but left sitting outside a row of wee traffic cones which are to designate the outer limits of the turn, which a legal run-off area outside them.'
  15. Big changes in the Dutch speedway season this year. There will be a Dutch speedway league, well it's a start, but it's a league. Four clubs are going to organise a few league meetings; Veenoord, Blijham and Lelystad will obviously use their own tracks and the Roden club is going to try to run a meeting on a track in Germany. There won't be a complicated signing system, like the professional leagues, but for now the riders will be spread around to clubs. Calendar looks like this: 05/05 Lelystad, league meeting 01/06 Blijham, international meeting 03/08 Veenoord, league meeting ??/09 Blijham, league meeting 22/09 Lelystad, league meeting 28/09 Veenoord, international meeting 06/10 Lelystad, dutch open championship More info sooooooon.
  16. Yes, they did place airfences in the corners, although they were NOT homologated by the FIM.
  17. Quite strange indeed, but it's true, there will even be commentry in Belgian/Dutch language they will also show the World solo championship
  18. Yes, apparently the calendar is not confirmed. Official news will be out soon according to FIM Europe...
  19. See also this topic: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72200
  20. Lol the heat schedule is on Facebook for weeks now... published almost directly after the meeting
  21. I will ask the KNMV about it, I think they forgot to add Bangma his points from the first round to the championship table. Calendar for 2013: 01/06 Blijham 01/09 Blijham 28/09 Veenoord All are international meetings. At the moment it looks like that there won't be a Dutch championship next year. No clubs have shown interest in staging a Dutch open meeting sadly.
  22. Calendar of the finals: 27/07 Zielona Gora 10/08 Togliatti 14/09 Gorican 29/09 Rzeszow Divisov was asked to also run a final (before they switched to Gorican), but they had to say no because they couldn't affort it. Apperently 'One Sport' wanted 150.000 euros from the club and thats a 'little bit' over their budget (source: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=cs&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.speedwaya-z.cz%2Fview.php%3Fcisloclanku%3D2012122105).
