Sounds excellent! Can't wait, I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon from Amsterdam -
Any info on what time the Waikaraka park meeting starts? The GP practice is at 15.00, so would be nice if the race at Waikaraka park is in the evening .

sounds nice , at least now we can see some motor action in the area after the GP :t: -
Yes indeed. Shame though, as Reitsma should have got #16.

Knapp and Hendersson were very good tonight. The crowd went wild when Knapp got second place in the Final, he got passed anyway by Ivanov a lap later, but 3rd is fantastic.

Rising Costs For Only 14 Meetings!
DutchGrasstrack replied to think fast's topic in National League Speedway
You don't need new covers......... there are guards which are like the 'old' rear guards (but they are just lowered and little different shape) and you can still use your covers. -

Well in 2012 the UEM is going to chance a couple things in their European Championship meetings.... They are cutting down the number of grasstrack meetings, which is a real shame because most grasstrack UEM meetings are getting more spectators then the speedway meetings. So only 2 qualifiers at the Grasstrack Solo en there is only 1 qualifier at the sidecars (6 sidecars are qualified automaticly for the final). The European Speedway championship is changing drasticly. In 2012 there are 3 Semi finals, 1 Challenge meeting and 4 Finals... does anybody know more about this? Last big change is that the age limit for the Juniors is changing to 21 instead of 19.

Why did they reject german championship in Dresden?

To which meetings do you guys go to this season? I'm planning to go to Sankt Johann (and hopefully a meeting on the day after), Krasnogorsk and the both Assen weekends .

Very very disappointing turnup today at Lelystad speedway, no crowd and just a few riders. Not a very good advert for Dutch speedway. Anyway, see below for the results: Speedway A: 1. Jannick de Jong 2. Henry van der Steen 3. Pascal Swart 4. Lars Zandvliet ----- 5. Kai Dorenkamp 6. Jeffrey Woortman Speedway B: 1. Nico Eijbergen 2. Andy ter Schuur 3. Robert-Jan Bangma 4. Kelly Velda 5. Richard Koppies Jannick de Jong is the 2011 Dutch champion.. -

Hi Mark, I went to Gorican this year (by car). It's very easy to get there, it's a few miles from the Hungarian border and the stadium is between Gorican and Donji Kraljevec, you can't miss it . I stayed in 'Hotel Golf' (with a few GP riders haha). That hotel is located in Donji Vidovec and is rougly 20 minutes located from the track. Payed around 35 pounds (I think) for a double room (per night). The food isn't very good though, and they can't speak English very well, so that was a bit difficult.

Result from Veenoord: 1. Mariusz Fierlej 2. Henrik Moller 3. David Bellego 4. Jari Makinen 5. Theo Pijper 6. Henry vd Steen 7. Tomasz Piszcz 8. Marcel Helfer 9. Anders Vad 10. Pascal Swart 11. Sjoerd Rozenberg 12. Nick Lourens 13. Dennis Helfer 14. Thomas Sorensen 15. Randy Oldenziel 16. Manuel Hauzinger 17. Lars Zandvliet And I also have some shocking news, Blijham is going to stage an qualifing round for the Speedway GP Qualifiers next year . Hope they will 'install' a airfence because I'm not sure if the riders will like the iron fence .
