29.09 6PM RZESZOW FINAL 4 LIVE ON EUROSPORT !! ----- The calendar for the European championship for 2013 has been annouced. The speedway championship is taken much more serious next year and they are trying to invite big riders as wildcards. Early reports suggest that Andreas Jonsson and Emil Sayfutdinov will ride next year in this championship. The four finals will also be on Polish TV and also the prize money has been upgraded to 50.000 euro per final. The format remains the same as this year, the top 8 (not sure about the numbers) from this year will automatically qualify for the Finals and the rest will come through via the semi finals and the challenge in Slovakia. There is a bit more behind this wildcard pick. The CZ federation got the wildcard and Skurla was the 4th rider in line after Zdenek Holub, Jan Holub and Eduard Krčmář all declined. This seems 'fair' as he is the next best CZ U21 rider after all the riders I mentioned (including the already qualified Vaclac Milik). BUT, I agree on what fsp just said...

Yeah he raced to a few of our 125c kids in Blijham and Vechta For as far as I know he only races in CZ, or for CZ in that Tri Nations championship.

His first meeting on a 500cc bike was in 2011
