Would be a good option! Havvy is a Poole legend! The third heat leader option sounds promising if it comes off! -

Giovanni Manzares for 'Przegląd Sportowy', the main sport daily newspaper in Poland: 'I'm going to spend a month in Europe, riding for Team Småland in Sweden and Poole Pirates and Ipswich Witches in Great Britain. In 2021 I want to go back to racing full-time in Europe.' (The photo: https://m.sportowefakty.wp.pl/; by Jarosław Pabijan) interesting! -
Swindon Robins 2020

Won’t change! I remember this topic coming from Poole for so many years and it fell on deaf ears. Mainly the time we had Darcy & Chris! -
When will this article be in the star Phil?

From what I understand it’s just over 50k per year per club in the top flight, which isn’t a much as Sky which was around 100k but it’s a step in the right direction. The BT deal was poor financially, it was worth 10-15k a club a year which was not great, especially when attendances were down when the their team was live on tv. BT had us over a barrel at the time, they rescued the sky deal which was ended earlier and continued the last 2 years. The discussion on an extended deal were easier as we had no rival offers from other tv companies. This time around the BSPA hired an external company, they had bids and more options which led to the Eurosport deal being chosen.

Because Nicolai was on a 2 year deal this was why the question was asked. Rumours were going around that we may step down and Nic wanted clarity, at the time he was told we would be staying up. I think there were still discussions to be had between Danny & Matt. Let’s not forget the final decision is Matt’s as the owner. Sadly Nic is a big loss and his new Premiership team are very lucky to have him. -

Is that still set at 2.5%? -
Will number 1 Steve Worrall still be leading the charge at Newcastle in 2020?
-
I presume that’s 50k for the Premiership club’s only, but obviously that will vary we have 7,8,9 or 10 in the top league.
-
Will Newman be available if Poole would like to use his services?
-
No he isn’t.
-
Another loan fee coming in for Matt from THJ who has confirmed he will be riding UK next season and has signed his contract already.

Poole Pirates 2021

I think with the potential of 14 clubs, there isn’t enough top riders around. The only way I can see this working is the points limit increases, to allow some top riders being able to double up. -

Adam Ellis got to be a good option on his average. -
Yes
-
Think its very likely there will be at least 3 Poole riders from 2019 in next years Sheffield team.
-
Just under 42.50 which I cannot see that being possible with a league of possibility 14 clubs.
-
With Stoke gone, Cradley and question mark along with Kent looking to move up it only leaves 5 teams.
-
14 teams tells me there’s will be no national league.
-
That is the question!!
-
Thought I may as well start it now. Application will be put in for us to run in the championship in 2020.
-
For me I will support it & go each week, but not too happy. What was the points limit for championship? 38 this year? feel a long tail coming on! the product was made very weak last year due to costs! On a plus side the south coast derby is back on with Eastie!!
-
No it isn't and the club if they were completely honest would see it too. 1. Didn't stop me going but I met 3 people at the Wimborne Whoppa grass track meeting who said not bringing Chris Harris back was the last hurdle for them and they have been going for over 20 years! how many more people had that view? He may not win every race but he entertained them! 2. Poor track conditions, which I know a lot of money has been spent over the past 3 years which clearly has not worked - Get that right and people will return. The Good Friday meeting this year done the business damage with some new fans going for the first time plus others not returning who have been going regular. 3. Losing some major sponsors & clearly the carpet company going bust owing us thousands has not helped! I can name some more too..... Its all about the bigger picture!
