  1. I disagree over the past decade winning team have had to be ripped apart.
  2. Think the reality is we will soon be a semi professional sport within the UK. Arguments going on behind the scenes not much agreement and these people are supposed to have the interest of the sport at heart. Sadly too many are only interested in their own club and little bubble around them. Too many ego’s in the room too, it’s no coincidence that we have ‘decent’ people leaving the sport because the old wood in the sport can’t see further than there nose. Take the Peterborough info now finally realised this week, how can someone who is investing in our sport and buying assets then be punished and lose out? Seems to be the same people within the top table doing more and more damage year in year out. The sport has been sold up the river in the last 10 years, the TV deal is an absolute joke and to think the money involved before to now! Make the sport simple and stop punishing winning teams, fans want to see more continuity with riders who they can connect with, not having to sack them because they were too successful.
  3. That sounds like common sense, so that’s out the window that option.
  4. Thought I would start this thread to discuss the main points of the AGM, not sure of the exact date but normally around mid-November. I’m hearing 2 clubs will be coming up from the Championship.
  5. I made that clear on the thread before the meetings were run, but everyone seemed to ignore it. Nick in theory was under Brady’s average, it was only down to the cut off took place just before Swindon’s last meeting.
  6. That was because the cut off for the averages took place just before Swindon’s last meeting on the 27th September which afterwards confirmed Nicks final average for team building in 2019 as 6.74.
  7. No was supposed to be but Cook undercut Matt after agreeing the fee and sending the cheque.
  8. Well firstly commiserations to Kings Lynn, with MPT & Iversen along with heat 12 at Poole the score would have swayed in their favour. A fantastic achievement by Matt & Middlo to win there 8 league title, and what a way for them to bow out. An interesting time ahead for Poole! Poole Pirates 2018 Premiership League Champions.
  9. Well said that man! Fingers crossed for a great entertaining meeting tonight & all riders stay safe and Injury free. KL will be pushing Poole very hard from the start which should take it to the wire.
  10. Depends if MPT is fit to ride with his wrist injury & how Buster preps the track.
  11. How when his GSA has finished at 6.74? Which includes all September meetings. The issue has come about because the cut off was 25th September when his ‘official average ‘ for team building is 6.74 for 2019 so that was looked at when making the decision. Ellis will score more than NKI at Poole, he performs very badly at Poole but KL will miss his scores in the return as can’t see Adam scoring the same.
  12. How have the rules changed to help Poole? Kurtz 6.75 replaced by Morris 6.74!
  13. Let’s make one thing very clear with people using facts and figures - up to 27th September Nick Morris average is 6.74 - Brady is 6.75 this is confirmed on the Swindon speedway site!
  14. He has taken a nasty knock to the head today, I would be very surprised if NKI rides tomorrow.
  15. Morris is a good option Toby would have been the best option but within the averages Nick is the next best option. Ellis at Kings Lynn is a bit of a concern if he is at 5, but my guess is Josh will go to 5 and Adam will ride at 3 or 4.
  16. Sounds to me like Ipswich are now seriously looking to move up along with Sheffield.
  17. One of the meetings I understand with another rider in the other due to the +5% home allowance on averages.
  18. Which he has rightly taken. Awaiting the club to announce the 2 riders they will be using Monday & Wednesday in place of Brady.
