Yeah lol good one - Swindon were doing exactly the same with Batch as Poole were with Adrian! It's very simple both clubs made illegal approaches to a rider after not having permission! So next time Adrian is used as an example Troy should also be used too! Peterborough offered terms to Batch as Swindon did to Adrian so there is no difference at all!
-
My point is Poole were accused of causing this issue following the Adrian M issue, clearly Swindon got the ball rolling long before and illegally approached a rider with out permission from the club that owns him, similar to the current Holder situation! But a lot on here say we set the example with Adrian which is clearly incorrect! Im stating clear facts, Poole are constantly blamed for everything going wrong when at the time other clubs do the same and never get mentioned! Everyclub does it including Poole so for people to say otherwise are incorrect. Swindon fans harp on about they wanted to use Adrian like Peterbrough planned to use Batch.

Think some on here have a very short memory!! December 2011!!!!! Um sounds similar to Adrian M but at that point he had not signed for Poole at that point!!! http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.1470 So just to confirm 5th Dec Swindon announced Batch 2011 - Adrian was announced 19th January 2012 - so who set the ball rolling then????? Robins?? Funny how some people forget this little chestnut!
-
No definitely not!
-
Matt didn't want to use Hans as has another option that should be announced this week. With regards to Chris I can see him lining up for Poole in 2018.
-
Good luck to Hans, had a decent couple of years but the right decision not to have him back, cant see him putting much on his 7.75 average.
-
Anyone have any ideas when this could finally be dropped? I'm sure this is holding up teams signing riders.
-
If Chris does not want to ride for Poole then that's fine, I don't want a rider who isn't 110% committed to riding for the Pirates. There is plenty more riders who we could use if not, although Chris is sat on bargain average. The Poole fans want him back but why go for a rider who wants to ride elsewhere.
-
Good luck with Jack! We do ok if his attitude is right.
-
In a lot of cases yes but not all!!
-
Get well soon Starman, sorry to hear the news.

Would be very stupid to turn down a 1 year deal down, even if the money is poor. Except offer then immediately start making plans for 2019 and other options, an internal channel from BSPA or speak to other broadcasters. Get the rules sorted early and get out there and sell the product, don't get to next November and do nothing and be in the same boat which is the norm with people running UK speedway. Things don't just fall into your lap you have to go and work for it! Get all clubs to put on a real show come to agreement for both sides where stadiums are packed, make the product look good and then use that to sell to other broadcasters. Use BT and then somehow get a bidding war if you can get a second company interested in the product.

Yes now sounds very likely he will start as a 2nd string so when he wanted number 1 money never going to happen!
-
So I presume you are a BV fan? How far back we you talking about Tai and Matej?
-
That's a very bold statement to make, I would love to see proof to back your logic up.
-
Exactly lets not forget Mateusz is owed by Buster at Kings Lynn who gave Matt permission to talk to him.
-
Michal Szczepaniak finished on a 4.86 for Coventry.
-
Nope its right! a silly rule from the BSPA but there to use!
-
No Hans but will see another Scandinavian along with an Aussie and Brit.
-
That does surprise me
-
So if Chris returns and James we still have a massive 7.78 for the final rider! Based on Chris 7.16 and James 2.95!
-
Was on Facebook page I think.
-
Tai rode here in 2016 so within 3 years of rule so remains 7.03.
-
There will be no joke as he won't be in the UK next year.
-
If he isn't at Poole then I can see someone having to have to pay a nice transfer fee, which clubs have the money though? He is on a bargain average so I'm sure Matt will do all he can to keep him. That is the issue! Jack has a real attitude and needs to realise he isn't gods gift to speedway just because his brother was a world champ. His mouth has cost him a Poole contract next year!
