Just been doing a quick weather watch. Not to annoy Steve Turner cause I know he just loves those weather reports but to know what to pack.!!! Thursday - quite nice but cloudy - warmer by a few degrees than this country at the moment. Only SCB from our group will benefit from this as the rest of us get there late evening! Friday - Pack your umberellas. 4 sites all saying 80% chance of rain. Saturday - All 4 sites say dry but cloudy. Same temps as here currently. Sunday - 3 out of 4 say dry. With 1 saying 60% chance of rain Monday - Cloudy - travel home day for us so not worried.

Yer -could work. But the riders in the qualifiers may not ride as hard if they thought they had a GP on the Saturday which is possibly more important to them!!?? Am I being awkward!?

Like the idea future but personally I couldnt afford all of that from one pay month. it needs to be spread out for me.

just thought I would add this update regarding cabin baggage. It seems approriate in here as we are all travelling soon - update here it is lengthy so I havent copied it. It is basically saying you can now take 1 piece of handbaggage again. Not a handbag and a case but 1 piece. Still no liquids but most other things. Liquids not areal problem though - WHS Airside will do the trick (unless its medication of course)

Some do but hotels like 'The MacDonald Lodge' say that once you have your reference number the price is secure!

That may be the 'case' (get it!) with Thompson but Easyjet are saying there is an increased hold baggage from 20 to 25k but its still one piece. Suggest you check with your airline Addy unless it is Thompson in which case your airline has already checked with you!!!!

Dont panic Addy. The idea of a strike is partly to get public sympathy. I dont think anyone would give sympathy if they went on strike following all the delays due to terror alerts. I reckon if they do anything it will be postoned till later in the year. I may be wrong of course

We have a lovely big apartment booked but the owners have increased the price (not by a lot)so I am busy checking out last minute offers through other agents. Had a great one lined up - but just found out its not available till the Friday - we travel on the Thursday! Blast!!!!
