Bydgoszcz Gp Chat Thread

We have plenty of photo's of those riot police Gem as they were stood right in front of us. They are quite intimidating. The are dressed in black and have balaclava's covering their faces. I still say they stood there to protect my Union Jack flag and for no other reason. It was an amazing stadium and an amazing trip. We had to be in our seats at 3pm for a 7.30pm meeting to get a good view. The trip was the best I have been on and that was due to the superb company and brilliant weather. As well as two great days of speedway. Personally I will be left with lots of different memories - * Lee singing Hotel Californika * London Witch and I enjoying a special cup of coffee * Chivs not wanting gas but getting it. * Lee and Dean defending my honour * Pammie nearly chocking when we discussed herbs and spices!! * Getting a special friend called Louise!!!! and the list could go on and on............... But thanks one and all - lets get booked for 2007 as soon as we can -
Good report Rob but you forgot - London Witch Witches v Hammers Nikkif Bill & Ted (Not forum members but an important part of our weekend none the less!!) Pammie and Mrs Matt Davis! And Gem - I agree, after seeing the incident myself, never again will I complain about the antics of Scott V Hans!!
-
Best ask the rest of the group then as I gave up scoring after I got the first heat wrong!! But I can report that the young lady sat behind me at the GP was the same lady that screamed and hugged me at the Sunday meeting. Out of the thousands at both meetings we bump into each other again - what a small world!!!!

There is so much here we could say - but what happens on tour, stays on tour!!! Take care Tom and keep us up to date with your progress. -
And a good time was had by all. Rob Peasley was there as well so a full and comprehensive match report will follow. Including a superb kung foo kick from an irate rider. Thought the crowds were going to storm the track!!

See you at the hotel, we go out tomorrow morning. Just for a bit of reading - have a look through the thread I have just bought back to the top. Im sure your in the list somewhere. Funny how the season has changed and people are now coming along! Safe journey and see you Friday -
Bought this thread back to the top as it has the who's who on it! Not sure its 100% correct anymore [in fact I know its not ] but with a group of us departing from Stanstead tomorrow morning I thought it good just to read through and see how things have changed over the season. See you all at the airport sometime after 9am.

Were getting a taxi to the Brda. When do you go and from where? -
Looking at the long range it should be good. There is of course the remains of the hurricane to come our way but hopefully we will be in Poland with lovely clear weather whilst the UK will be wet and windy!!! Coming home may be a turbulant journey though.

1 week now!!! In fact - we would be in the air by now - I hope! -
Good luck getting tickets then Bryn if you havent already got them. Flight and seats are at such a premium at the moment with the Ashes series due they are costing an absolute fortune! But hopefully you gave up the weed and never looked back - so those extra pennies should help! (You did stay of it didnt you?)

A 16 year old brother for a 16 year old daughter!! That doesn't help one bit!! Its okay Jo, I'll be there to chaperone! -
He sure was and scared me to death!! If you check out my photos (link a few posts back) you will see the apartment and how high it was!!
-
Ah bless. You are welcome. It was great fun and an apartment was a good way of doing it. No chambermaid wandering through your bedroom when you are trying to sleep. Instead you had 7 female Coventry fans doing it!!!!

Hmm - Bob!
