  1. Fair play to them for pegging back the ticket prices. How the hell they lost money with the crowds you get is beyond me.Well actually it's not but there you go lol. Perks will clean up at reserve.Top quality signing for you
  2. Not close to PL level yet.Would be far too early for him
  3. Any idea where they've pulled that average from?
  4. Brendan Johnson is also out following his crash Sunday
  5. I've asked a couple of people I know going to keep me updated. If any of them can I will update on the updates page
  6. I like Morley as a rider.Always seems to ride Mildenhall well and is a popular choice of guest when we have used him.For me though he needs to get away from the whole Len Silver set up to further his career.I hope next season he rides elsewhere and gets to the standard he is capable of.
  7. Good, solid team performance from the lads today.Looked really up for it.Was pretty much impossible to keep the dust down today.Dried out pretty quick.Few races were gate and go with some others being closely run.Jacobs pass on Lambert to get the win on theline was superb,as was Lamberts brilliant heat15 ride. For Mildenhall Halsey-You know what you are going to get with Dan.Always reliable.Unfortunate to have an ef of the last bend in heat 15 Coles-Was unlucky not to score more.Brilliant win over Compton when he was on a TR Jacobs-Pretty much faultless Johnson-Improving with every meeting around West Row.Very sharp from the gate and really wanted to win those 1st bends Bates-Great to see Josh looking so good.Super quick Kingston-Probably the smoothest I've seen Jack ride.Looked really good.Cracking 2nd to pass Morley Mountain-Battled for his points.A tapes exclusion and on the rough end of a tight 1st bend. For Kent Morley-Expected more.Probably his worst performance around the track that I've seen Mason-Couldn't hear why he withdrew but it must have been a non speedway related withdrawal as they couldn't replace him Compton-somehow managed to score what he did.Never really looked like passing when behind.Disappointing Lambert-Typical performance around the track.Superb in ht15 Harris-unfortunately out classed Ayres-great 1st ride in a decent time.Nothing after that Well done lads Don't think you can use a guest unless you have 2 of your top 5 missing.
  8. The crash when he managed to clear the 12ft fence on the dog track was crazy.Never seen anything like it
  9. I only know of Jamie Smith that used to ride during my time of following Mildenhall. There may well have been a James Smith before my time but I don't have a clue tbh
  10. No different to a manager not agreeing with a refs decision on tv really. Can't see the problem myself. It was a decision that for me could have gone either way.Ben did lose a little control and seemed to cut back into Danny.Just a racing incident Morley was highly impressive. The extra experience seems to be doing him the world of good.A rider I've wanted at Mildenhall the last few years really.
  11. I'd be surprised if the meeting vs Mildenhall wasn't on 1st.If a Cradley rider picks up a knock in the first meeting,it would be a lot easier to cover the rider against Scunny rather than Mildenhall
  12. With the new Mildenhall averages out I'm guessing we will go 1.Guest 2.Mountain 3.Bates 4.Coles 5.Halsey 6.Johnson 7.Kingston That's a cracking reserve pairing imo.Brendan has hit some nice form in the last 2 meetings and Jack has been flying recently.Should be an interesting meeting for sure
  13. Can't see why you can't use R/R for Perry. We used R/R for Bates on Monday due to injury.
  14. Agree completely. Hope none of the riders who had crashes are too seriously hurt. No ambulance coming onto the track for Jack was beyond a joke. Kent has the potential to be a top place for speedway. The stadium in general is fantastic. The track is the complete opposite.I don't think I could stand watching speedway there if its like that every week.Have only been twice and both have been poor meetings and track. Need to get it sorted before people do lose interest.
  15. Well done Cov.Certainly have a handy side and will be there or there abouts come the end of the season.Looking forward to seeing how the season unfolds
  16. Think most Mildenhall fans use the Facebook page rather than this forum now.Going to be a close meeting I think. Can't make today unfortunately.Looks a bit cloudy at the moment but I think by looking at the weather forecast the meeting will go ahead.Good luck to the lads
  17. Can't remember the final score but Ben Howe scored 22 points for Mildenhall away at Wimbledon in 2002/2003.Never seen a performance like it
  18. But as the rider they are using is unattached it's not a guest.Well that's what I thought anyway.Knowing me I've got confused with something else haha.Doesnt matter either way.Neale is a solid rider who should get amongst the points http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=76021&page=2 There's sort of an explanation there from Malcolm Vasey with what I was getting at lol
  19. Not a dig just a bit confused. If Scunny are going with young kids and 3 pointers etc.Why are they using R/R and a number 8? Why not just have him in the 1-7?? I noticed they did the same against Dudley and gave the number 8 all 4 rides.
  20. The trouble you have is the likes of Scunny can do what they are doing with no problem. They can bring in 6 new riders to the sport in 1 go.They have the luxury of a main PL team to fall back on for finances. If Mildenhall for example didn't build a team that could win on track at home and the odd meeting away,we would close as the crowds would drift. The hardcore base would stay I've no doubt about that, but you'd lose the people who only come every so often. I think Mildenhall have got the balance right this year.Competitive team and a chance to bring on some youngsters. Our oldest rider I believe is Halsey and he's only 25/26.4 riders under 20 aswell.I couldn't be happier with the 7 we have.
  21. Not long been in.Quite enjoyed the meeting.Few passes and the racing was pretty close.Plus seeing Lambert score naff all helped Bowen,Boxall and Kennett were good value.Love watching Boxall tbh, especially when he's chasing.Got stitched up by Kennett in the last.Deserved more points than what he got.Think there will need to be changes otherwise its going to be a long old season for Rye. Nick Morris was very impressive as was Aspgren. Both Kurtz's had decent rides also.Solid performance all round really. Good to see you Shads.Hope the curry makes up for the result Adz
  22. Is it R/R for Allen I'm guessing following his withdrawal from last nights meeting at Somerset?
  23. Schramm isn't exactly pulling up trees around there this year lol.
