  1. Already seen it and didn't think it worthy of comment. Not only has the beggar been included, but Wieslaw Jagus isn't there. The guy who wrote it is obviously terminally deluded.
  2. If the following means what I think it means, it looks like Jagus can find his way around Lonigo as well: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/?dysc_id=4&k1_...&news_id=180941 It looks like 9 points from 3 rides for the "Blueberry".
  3. I see the beggar has been spouting off again: http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/news/a7429?...2b453088ea873e6 Didn't he say much the same last season and the season before?
  4. Just out of interest young Pozrl, is Ferjan a Slovenian or Hungarian these days?
  5. He also, please correct me if I'm wrong, won a GP in 2004. And what major achievements did that lead to in 2005?
  6. I'm broadly in agreement with your analysis. Zagar could have a difficult second season in the GPs full time. He's another that troubles me. As is Hancock. I keep writing him off, saying he's had his last hurrah and back he comes. But I fancy Hancock will drift down the order. As for Gollob, I believe he'll hang around until at least Bydgoszcz and there's only one round left after that, with a £100,000 prize which I think will interest him. So, I think he'll last the season, but might've been better to have had Bydgoszcz as the final round. I think Jagus will surprise a few people - he did okay at Bydgoszcz and tracks such as Eskilstuna (his home track in Sweden), Krsko, Wroclaw, Prague and Latvia should hold no fears for him. I imagine he'll be backed to the hilt by Torun's new owner Roman Karkosik and shouldn't struggle for equipment. I think this is really make or break year for Andreas Jonsson - he made a breakthrough last season in winning at Malilla, now he has to push on and become a challenger. Edit: Okay, here goes nothing: 1..J Crump 2..A Jonsson 3..N Pedersen 4..L Adams 5..G Hancock 6..M Zagar 7..J Hampel 8..W Jagus 9..H Andersen 10..T Gollob 11..S Nicholls 12..A Lindback 13..R Holta 14..B Pedersen 15..C Harris
  7. Yes, you've a point about Crump. That was a disappointment. But - and this is important - if it hadn't been for a certain Mr Rickardsson, Crump would've been champ three times on the bounce. And Rickardsson isn't around anymore. I just don't see anyone getting near Crump now that Rickardsson's gone.
  8. Can't see anyone getting near Crump in the race for the title. But Andersen troubles me - he could finish in the hunt for the podium, or he could potter around down with the also rans. He's a lot to prove. He had a lot to prove last year and he proved it, to a point. But once his place for 2007 was secure, he was among the also rans again.
  9. There is - the less than mighty Kaparna are Gothenburg based, I think.
  10. Oh dear, that's a beggaresque effort - surely you can do better than that?
  11. I believe he means the bye bye to the magnificent new athletics track that's been laid.
  12. You have to say that - you're now the face of the discredited BSI.
  13. It certainly has, hasn't it. No doubt it'll have the same ring next year when the terminally deluded spout it, again.
  14. Indeed, a slight error on my part. But what's wrong with collecting trollies at Tesco? Beneath your status, just like qualifying is beneath your hero's princely status? Sorry, but I don't look down on anybody because of their work. And, for what it's worth, I don't work for Tesco, I work in the construction industry. No doubt this is another industry you look down your nose upon.
  15. I've done okay for myself over the centuries. And, excuse me, but failed to qualify for 2005, failed to qualify for 2006 and failed to qualify for 2007 - that surely counts as failure. If it's your idea of success, then your "pretty well" might not be so grand as you imagine.
  16. That's a good one. Given your admitted lack of knowledge, maybe it was unwise to offer the view that I'm a failure. Still, Like many around here, you don't see lack of knowledge as a barrier.
  17. Rupert Murdoch's empire of darkness pays for live sport, not "as live" sports - they'd pay less if they couldn't show it live. They might not even bother with it in the first place unless they can have it live. They'd only show it "as live" if they had something better for the live slot.
  18. I like your style young fellow. But, Simon Stead?
  19. Rob, you're a saint. Well, my initial thought regarding 2007 is, of course, why is the beggar still there? But I sense you under-estimate the "Blueberry" - I can see Wieslaw Jagus making a favourable impression in 2007.
  20. Probably too busy weeping at the abject failure of the beggar to notice the breathtaking action, especially in Ht 18 when Messrs Gollob and Jonsson made him look like a hapless novice.
  21. Certainly the case when it comes to the terminally deluded.
  22. Who's him? Ah, I see, Gemini taking my name in vain again.
