Krakow have, apparently, withdrawn from the league already, although they're hoping to stage some open meetings later in the season. As for GKZ Gdansk, they're as follows: L Nigmatzyanov: New starter K Jablonski: 1.638 (Ekstraliga) A Pietrzyk: 1.867 (I Liga) M Frankow: 1.597 (I Liga) R Kawolski: 2.070 (II Liga) S Truminski: 1.735 (I Liga) M Jankowski: 1.897 (II Liga) P Baran: 1.022 (I Liga) P Jedrzejkiewicz: 0.200 (I Liga) G Dzik: New starter

Agreed. But people will still be demanding not only that he's in the team, but also that he's wild card for the British GP.

Subedei replied to Hansfan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And Hans Andersen had an Elite League average higher than either of them and won a GP as recently as 2004. Iversen is the Chrzanowski for 2006. -

I can't help but wondering, if you'd been blessed with a daughter, whether one of her given names would've been Wanda. -

2006 World Championship
Subedei replied to Alun Chapple's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think TR would've dominated last season whatever the formula. He was just a class above everyone and certainly a step up from his form in the first six GPs of 2004. Remember, TR served notice in the final three GPs of 2004 (winning two and finishing third at Bydgoszcz) as to what was coming in 2005. -
Rybnik, I believe.
-
Do you mean Belgium, the country just up from France?
-
Or, as it is known in the UK: "The Wanda Affair Episode II: A New Hope for Rico and HenryW."
-
Just out of interest, can anyone - shazzybird? - confirm whether he's all orange?

Shouldn't one of those Katowices be Krakow? -
I think both Tomasz Gollob and Jaroslaw Hampel will be in the top 8. The interesting thing then is if two Poles are among the three that come through the qualifiers.
-
As I understand it, from next season the top 8 will qualify for 2007 (which means 7 riders since Rickardsson will be gone). Then three will qualify via the qualification system, which adds up to ten, leaving BSI with five "picks" for 2007.
-
NKI is in Peterborough's line-up home straight (ignore that, you noticed). But it's a little obvious that Janusz Kolodziej is hoping that riding for Reading will give him a little help in getting into the GPs.
-
Although it has likely found a permanent home at Reading (when staged in the UK) now that the discredited BSI own Reading and the FIM.

Reading Host World Cup?
Subedei replied to Rema & Ben's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And most will be - I guess - flying "no thrills" and coming into Stanstead. And Kings Lynn have also organised WTC rounds in the past. -
Reading Host World Cup?
Subedei replied to Rema & Ben's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
But they've more or less given up on that as well. Only Cardiff and Copenhagen remain from that experiment. That said, Czestochowa's stadium is being redeveloped and the plans look very impressive. -
No, the point being made is that Wembley, rather like Twickenham, is a rather faceless suburb of London. You're surely not going to claim that Wembley is only a stone's throw from Oxford Street?
-
Thought there was a big Zielona Gora-Ostrow meeting around that time? I fancy that Rico and HenryW were intending to attend that meeting until "Wanda" turned their heads.

2006 World Championship
Subedei replied to Alun Chapple's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Maybe since he top-scored for Team GB in the SWC final at Wroclaw - the only man to beat Tomasz Gollob. Or maybe since he finished 2nd at the Bydgoszcz GP in 2005. There has to be a "school of thought" that says Richardson will get further at the very highest level than Nicholls.
