  1. In fairness, it looks as if Holta "started" the PR stunts. My guess is he'll fight fire with fire. It's all rather inelegant.
  2. Anyway, tommy here's the link to Holta's "guest book". A lot of the posts are in Polish, but that'll not be a problem for you. http://www.holta-racing.com/module.php?pag...page=1&lang=eng
  3. Have you been taking lessons in innuendo from young Hammond and Leigh?
  4. So, Marta Poltorak made him an offer he couldn't refuse? Think I'd struggle to refuse her as well actually.
  5. A good point AndyM and well worth saying twice. Bydgoszcz looking to increase their overseas compliment Mateusz? Tarnow and Bydgoszcz certainly look to have missed the boat after the restrictions on foreigners crashed. I still think they're the two best looking sides.
  6. Well, since we've been away, Wroclaw have finally swung into action and named, more or less, a complete squad, including Andersen, Crump and Hampel. Miskowiak's gone to Leszno, while Ricky Kling has joined the club. Wroclaw have also named an impressive total of six juniors, seven if you include Kling. Rune Holta has joined newly promoted Rzeszow.
  7. Alternatively, you could ask forum member Tomaz Pozrl, who knows just about everything that goes on, speedway wise, in that part of the world.
  8. Interesting that Gdansk, apparently one of the clubs that wanted restrictions on foreign riders lifted, have so far only signed one overseas rider.
  9. http://www.sportowefakty.pl Click on zuzel and it is - or was - the first news item.
  10. Interestingly, PePe in his Ipswich kevlars and Robert Miskowiak sporting an Ipswich hat.
  11. Still, dear lady, it could've been worse. Imagine what else she could've been drinking in the park.
  12. Not if they sign Crump and Hampel. Unless the two GP riders rule is thrown out. But, if that happened, Tarnow could have him anyway.
  13. As far as I'm aware, it's 7-man teams for 2006. In that case, I'd imagine Tarnow will line-up along the lines of: 1..T Rickardsson (Lukas Dryml when TR doesn't feel like it) 2..M Rempala 3..J Gollob 4..J Kolodziej 5..T Gollob 6..P Hlib 7..G Dzik (or another of Tarnow's juniors) Stanislaw Burza will probably be brought in as and when he is needed. But, of course, I could be wrong and it could be 8-man teams. Now, what about young Nicholls? Have Tarnow cooled their interest in him?
  14. Well, signed so far: Zielona Gora: Lindgren, Walasek, Okoniewski, Staszewski and Nowaczyk, with the possibility of Hamill joining as well. Ostrow: Max, PK, Ferjan, Risager and Jedrzejak. Edit: I assume Robacki's pizzas will be relocating from Bydgoszcz to Grudziadz?
  15. Have I missed something? There's 15 riders in the GP circus, which means, virtually, two for each club. But Lee Richardson hasn't signed for anyone yet and Scott Nicholls looks likely for Tarnow. So, surely there's more than one club with only one GP rider?
  16. Anyway, wouldn't that fall foul of the "two GP riders per team" rule? Crump, TG and Hampel all part of the circus.
  17. Now, why shouldn't Rico torch his Wroclaw cap? Could his hero (and his hero's brother) be heading for the stadion Olimpijski? Could Wroclaw be looking to team up Hampel and Gollob for 2006? They've dispensed with Krzysztof Slabon. Is that to create room for Jacek? And, by the sounds of it, a once in a year event for the people of Krakow.
  18. I'd be surprised if it was an afternoon kick-off. And, if it is, it's likely to be late afternoon, around 4:00pm. Usually, when the world cup is held in Europe, group games kick-off in late afternoon (4:00pm) and in the evening (8:00pm). Remember, Germany is 1 hour ahead of BST. The last time the world cup was on, it was held in South Korea and Japan.
  19. Try the GP section of this forum young fellow. Many people have been to Bydgoszcz and a couple of members, Mateusz and Lawrence, are actually from the fair city of Bydgoszcz. An example: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...40&hl=bydgoszcz
  20. I'd imagine most speedway supporters (young Shovlar excepted, of course), would find staying in southern France and travelling into Monaco for the GP a cheaper option. I think it's what a lot of F1 fans do.
  21. Most things in Monaco seem to need the patronage of the royal family. So, I guess, if Prince Albert wants it to happen, there's a chance.
  22. Well, looks like we need latvian-speedway to put in an appearance. He'd be able to help out.
