Just looked at live weather radar on my phone. There's a hell of a lot of rain about down in the south east and there has been all morning but the track seems to have got off pretty lightly in comparison to other areas. Still a long way to go till time of the meeting though and still a significant risk of more rain to come.

No. I am more than happy with BV 1-7. They have done us absolutely proud all season and win or lose these playoffs we can hold our heads up high and say "well done boys". They all deserve to ride in these playoffs. I would honestly be furious if we brought Emil in at this point. Our morals would be shot! Would love him at our place next season though!

I was just making a point. Sometimes decision go for you, sometimes against you. As for the Kurtz EF costing poole top spot as FACT... I disagree. It cost poole the CHANCE of a 5-1 in that heat, nothing more. There were still over 2 laps to go in the race.

You don't know what would have happened had Kurtz not had an EF. He may have hit the fence ala Zagar to allow one of the BV boys through. We will never know.

King won the BRC at BV and has guested a number of times for us this season. He's brilliant round our track. Saw how he performed (eventually!) in the SWC too.

Steve, you keep banging on about how had Kurtz not had an EF in heat 14 you would have won this meeting and consequently the #1 spot in the league. As others have mentioned you conveniently forget all other aspects of the meeting, most especially the Zagar EF in heat 13. You keep claiming that Holder would have 100% definitely passed him bla bla bla. I just have one question for you if you would be so kind to answer. In the one race that these 2 were paired together in the evening that they both completed, who won? (Clue: it was heat 1)...

Starman are you saying that 95% pay on the gate at BV?! Judging by pre-ticket sales for tomorrow that means we are expecting a crowd over 13k...

All the talk of BV being strengthened but let's not forget the only time Tungate rode our track he scored 15+2 from 6 rides... Poole definitely strengthened!

We aren't riding at wolves on Monday? Last time we rode there we won comfortably but that was woth JK getting 000. Woffy changes things slightly...! Plus we've seen how Woffy goes at NSS.

But reserves can replace each other anyway? As long as they have 3 rides minimum... Edit posted before I'd read the last page of the thread! Anyone?
