  1. I like that storyline. We'll see, lots of twists and turns to come yet.
  2. Comfortable home win, our record at Blunsdon is poor. Practice for the play-offs,for example I doubt if Mark Riss has ridden there before.
  3. I presume you meant Worral is an improvement on Howarth at Swindon ?
  4. Makes zero difference, both Wolves and Belle Vue in the play-offs. Come on Fred, surely you can do better than that, repetive and boring, where's your originality.Get with the program man 😀😁😂
  5. Kenny beginning to work towards his normal play off form. Come on Ken you do it, there's another team you can let down 😂
  6. Monster crowd, roads around the stadium grid-locked.
  7. As a fan I had some great days out in the halcyon days of speedway. An example, bank holiday Monday. Peterborough v Boston 11 am, Boston v Peterborough 3 PM and finally kings Lynn v Poland at 7:30. Now there's fixture planning.
  8. As has been mentioned previously, today is a very big ask for the Belle Vue riders.
  9. You are right, ignorance is the correct defence.
  10. Your original post was 100% stirring. I should look in the mirror If I were you.
  11. Or any subject, he could bore for Britain at a national level.
  12. Only 2 clichés? Come on you've got 8 left from your allowance of 10 ! I suppose you've got to keep some back for the match report though. 😛
  13. Wolves have never ridden any match, as far as I are aware, in the morning. This may well be because of restrictions because of greyhounds. Wolves race night is Monday evening the Aces fixture was there first, so other fixtures have to fit around that.
  14. Hell of a task for the riders you've mentioned to ride anywhere near their best.I remember 1 self inflicted stupid decision by the Wolves management. We were due at Exeter on a bank holiday Monday morning at 11:00 am and needed a guest. So we chose Steve Johnstone who was mad enough to ride it well. Only thing is he was riding at Glasgow on Sunday night ! I guess he slept or tried to in the van on the way down. Crazy.
  15. That's a real bonus for the Wolves to have Sam back as well as Riss now. Have a few matches now under their belts to get match and race fit for the play-offs. From a Belle Vue point I think the management have been completely bonkers to agree to ride in the morning at Poole. A hell of an ask for the fans let alone the riders, particularly as Wolves is a 6:00 pm start. Of course they may not have had other option, but it is crazy.
  16. Well, I will look into your figures. However Wolves finished bottom of the table a few years ago.Was there any less of a home advantage then or did we just have a crap team ? The flip side of the coin, we have had good teams in the last few years.
  17. All teams ride better at home. Very weird that.😁
